Talkin' with dudes.
Last night I had two very serious conversations with two of my closer friends. Very seperate conversations, very different people, but with problems that closely resemble the others. Girls. I talk about girls a lot... and anyone who knows me will tell you I love women. Love 'em. But god damn they're the most challenging people to approach and one of the biggest headaches a man can get. For me, whenever I meet a girl and after a while, develop a crush or whatever, I often over think things and end up screwing everything up. This time is no different, but I'm trying to not think about it. Which is quite the opposite of over thinking something. Another problem commonly shared is the thought that I won't find a girl that is compatible with me because I am a massive geek, I play Dungeons and Dragons and I'm almost constantly playing video games, I'm in a hardcore band and I can't stand drugs or alcohol. Well, who knows what will happen. Maybe I won't find a girl that I can be happy with. Maybe I will, but she'll be impossible to reach or perhaps isn't even interested in me at all. I'm sure all these questions will be answered sometime soon, and in the meantime... I'll try not to think.
