well i haven't updated this in awhile, and not that i have time now, quite the contrary. but it HAS been exactly one month so here's some news.
ben & i moved into a flat on 2nd st in corvallis. it's nice, we split the rent $350/mo, which includes all of our utilities (except phone). he got a job @ alpine bakery, but works bagging shifts... starting between 6 and 9:30pm til 11pm or 2:15... whatever is necessary. it sucks that i have to work 9am-4pm and then sometimes from 6pm-10 or 11...
but today was my last day @ central analytical lab, thank god! it was a fine job but i'm glad i won't be going in @ 9am every morning, although it was more like 9:45 the past 2 days. i'll get a paycheck for 110 hours on 31 sept...
allie left for germany about a week ago, i lost track. she's been a psycho bitch, more than usual, the last couple encounters we've had, and i'm glad to get a break for awhile.
my phl of nature class starts on sunday afternoon, i got all of my 5 shifts @ the dream covered except one. i still need to write my 2-3 page paper, but at least now i've read all the 3 articles she gave us to digest. i'm looking forward to the class, i wonder what the people will be like & i hope it doesn't rain the whole time.
i went home last mon-wed, got a cavity filled on the latter day, boo hisssss.... went shopping for the first time in recent memory (at the mall no less SWEET JESUS), bought some pink & black star shoelaces, some fucking rad underwear & striped socks. also bought some black mary janes at a thrift store for $2.50. don't own many girly shoes, but i may start my collection... now.
john my younger brother is finishing up cycle oregon today and tomorrow, he has been having fun. he's there by himself, rather than w/ a large group, but we've gotten a few calls from him & he sounds ok. the whole week is one long party; tons of food, beer garden, live entertainment every night. a woman passed away 2 days ago though, she lost control of her bike once starting down the huge 20 mile hill. she was 60, her husband is cycling, too. he says that she was so happy to be there with the group (~2000 people this year), and to make it to the top of the hill. it's terrible, but i'm not sure what to say about it.
working at the dream wed, thurs, sat evenings during fall term. not my ideal schedule, but i do work w/ geoff 2 of those days. he's pretty rad, entering my thoughts more often than not lately. yesterday everyone seemed to be in a real sour mood, hopefully today is better. tomorrow, saturday, is a home beavers football game = really busy. that's an understatement. usually i come into work @ 6, but michelle asked me to be there @ 4. it's going to be insane, lots of stress/pressure/madness. hopefully i won't have to close, i don't think it's my turn this weekend.
well i'm off to get some coffee before work. want to check out mary's peak tonight @ aj's, but there's tons of stuff going on. ben won't be off work til late, so i'll head out w/ some dreamers. let's get soused....
