this invite is from alison: anyone in corvallis should check this out. do your duty as a concious voter in oregon (if that last bit applies to you).
It's high time for an open tea, all genders welcome, as we sip freshly steeped brews and snack heartily to build our energies to defeat W (again) in 2004! MoveOn (an active, nationwide grassroots movement... that's you and I, folks) is kicking off its Leave No Voter Behind campaign to register 400,000 voters for Kerry (or against Bush, if you are of the lesser-of-two-evils mind). What luck! The meeting is from 7-8pm Wednesday, right after tea!
See you here!

"at least he's not bush" 2004
personally, i don't think the US, much less the world, can survive another 4 years of bush jr. perfect world, kucinich would be president with nader as veep... but i don't think this is the right year for the 3rd party 5%. that was in 2000, and for sure will be in 2008. i wonder if hilary clinton will run next election. i would vote for her, i would vote for almost any female candidate, unless she resembled thatcher or something. the horror! anyway, i don't usually get political in my journal so this is stopping now.
happy tuesday everyone!
