What was the first song you ever heard by 6?
Trapeze Swinger when I saw In Good Company in Alabama with my mom ages ago.

What is your favorite lyrics of 5?

"You were chained to a girl that would kill you with a look
It’s a nice way to die she’s so easy on the eye"
OR
"Yeah you're worth the trouble and you're worth the pain
And you're worth the worry, I would do the same
If we all went back to another time
I will love you over
I will love you"

How many times have you seen each of your ten bands live?
I've never seen any of them, but come July 29th I will have seen both The Mountain Goats and The Silver Jews

What is your favorite song by 7?
Y-Control (both the orginal and re-mix) and/or Turn Into

Is there a song of 3 that makes you sad?
Made For TV Movie gets me every time and Nick Drake Tape as well (but basically both of their albums make me feel a comfortable sad nostalgia for St.Mary's last Spring, lying in my bed taking a nap or making love or thinking about one while doing the other)

What is your favorite song by 2?
Tough one sir, I'll have to go with "William It Was Really Nothing" as an all time personal favourite. However "Ask" and "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" are way up there.

What is your favorite song by 9?
All of Tallahasse and then I guess "Cotton" , because it is the peak of John Darnielle's lyrical genius and "Going to Georgia", because I just think of Alec playing it and it makes me cry every time.

What is your favorite album by 5?

"If You're Feeling Sinister" hands down.

How did you get into 3?
One word and it's Alec.

What is your favorite song by 4?
"Ex-Con" , how can you not love the line "When ever I get dressed up, I feel like an ex-con trying to make good" or "Cold Blooded Old Times"

Who is your favorite band member in 6?
I guess if I really HAD to choose I'd say Sam Beam, much like Jim Beam he is smooth and tastes kind of like syrupy wood.

Which of the 10 has influenced you the most?
Neutral Milk Hotel changed the way I viewed young love, death, sex and the enviroment. Also it allowed me to get closure with Malone and to make friends with Alec (who as you can see is a very big part of my  current musical taste/ life in general)

What is a good memory concerning 8?
Driving around in Carmen's car after school Senior year and blasting Picaresque. I can't help but feel that same lingering feeling everytime I listen to it.

Is there a song by 10 that makes you sad?
Mostly they just remind me of drunken nights and are terribly witty even when they are sad. However, "I Remember Me" , though it has a catchy tune tells a very sad story.

What is your favorite song of 1?
"Two Headed Boy Pt.2" for many MANY reasons. Its love meets genius meets life meets death incarnate, and I am usually teary eyed by the second or third verse.

How did you become a fan of 7?
Well, driving back from a rather dull party with Conor at a kid named Jason's house, I heard Maps and died inside a little. I downloaded it, then I borrowed Fever to Tell from Alec a few months later.

"Later I learned that life was sweeter then Jewish wine" - Silver Jews
