Back from Long Beach...
I spent the last 3 days in southern California. I have been on the job hunt 6 months now, luckily I have been able to do some consulitng, but the last 2 months its been horrible and so I was happy to head to old stomping grounds and interview in a small ad agency that has won many creative prizes. They liked me but the principal was at a client, and even though they had changed my meetings a few times I did not get to meet the owner, and in the end, its his call.
I was able to drive slowly up from Long Beach to LAX, so I did a touristy route, took Pacific Coast Hwy up, and stopped in Redondo and Hermoso Beach. Also had lemonaide in Venice Beach, walked and had fun, as well ended up in Hollywood at a opening of a slasher flick, so it was funny.
I took the red eye backk and the time change, then no sleep has had me today just lounging around. Its been a rainly day in Miami...but thank goodness not a bad day!
