Today is my birthday!!! I'm 8 years old today! Mom made me a cake and everything today. I got to eat some icing :) Mom wrote a nice post in her journal about the day we first met. My grandma (mom's mother) is coming to town! She's getting here tonight. I've only met her once before in 1997 when she came to visit. She doesn't really like cats much (imagine that!) and she's afraid of black cats. Mom says she's super something about black cats. It looks like our landlord monster might be selling the condo that we're living in! Mommy is worried, but her and dad went and found some nice apts we can live in.
