More about my Grandma

Well, my grandma is back in the hospital, the real hospital I mean. Not the rehab place. Apparently they were giving her too much potassium. Enough that it would have killed if a doctor hadn't come and done some tests.

I wish I could depart some amazing words of wisdom for you, Av, but unfortunately I can't. I've been exactly where you are... well mostly where you are I guess... and continue to be there everyday. For once, I'm not talking about work (though I do it there to) but instead about my Grandma. She is the type of person that believes if there isn't a pill to fix the problem then its not fixable, regardless of all the options you show her. She had become a total hermit and never left their house even for family functions at my parent's place, only about 10 blocks away! Aside from her medical problems, she has now developed a severe anxiety disorder that, if she knows she's going ANYWHERE outside of their home, she makes herself sick and can't go. Literally, you'd talk to her in the morning about coming to a birthday party at my Mom's house, like only 15 people at most and all close/immediate family, and by 4pm she is too sick to come. Anyhow, they moved into a senior apartment to try and get my grandma more involved in activities

Aye, you speak words of wisdom, Marh. And it sounds like our grandmother's maybe cut from the same cloth (or very near the same pattern).

Its just hard because I know my Grandma is very chatty, but the people in these place we go are rather quiet.
