Nothing really worthy of note. I slept until 5am this morning, so let's hope my sleep schedule is getting back to normal.
Nothing exciting has really been happening in my life now that Steve has gone. Steve did however, call me last night from Washinton which was nice and I told him how things are progressing here. He has gotten lost several times in Seattle already but I'm sure he'll get the hang of it, I'm glad he took the time to call me =)
Oh ALSO!
I fixed my car, and it turned out not to be a major electrical problem with the computer after all... with my supervision this time, dad took apart the light, and I discovered taht he was using the WRONG PART! The bulb was 9004 and the OWNERS MANUEL said we needed 9007... and he's all like "What's the difference? This one came out of the GEO Tracker" ugh.. but $10 later, and a 15 or so minutes of labor, and the car is working 100% again including high beams and the "Service Vehicle" light went out.
I even re-replaced the Day Time running light thing and those work again... he used the wrong part there too. *sigh*
OH well everything is working again, and I'm SOOO Happy! I feel much more confident about my purchase. Even though consumer reports says it's not that great I really haven't had any problems save for routeine wear and tear. *crosses fingers, knocks on wood*
What does bother me however, is that he said he had it into the shop to fix the light problem and aparently they TOO put in the wrong part?!?! What I think happened was they pulled the light apart and saw my dad's part in there and assumed it was the right one, and just put a new one in... ugh. It really is true that if you want somethign done right you have to do it yourself. I just can't be a master of EVERYTHING. =(
