Today is Halloween.
I need to get to work on a costume. I have until oh about Four-ish or so. It will all work out.
I was arrested for the first time the other day. Thank you North Adams court houses!
I had a ticket way back when, and I sent it in to be appealed, I never received the my date, because they sent it to the wrong house. 318 not 319, yet they couldn't figure it out by the name...
So the only reason I found out was I received a notice of suspension.
I call the registry, they tell me to call the court house. The court house then tells me that they put in a new request because of the clerical error.
I think everythin' is okay... HA!
So I take Dan to the bank, now I don't know North Adams and Dan fails to mention a one way street, of course there was a cop behind me. So they do the usual bull honky stuff and it shows up my license is suspended. nice...
So I'm handcuffed, my truck is towed, and I'm BOOKED! The one good thing is, they had to take pictures of ALL my tattoos and do reports on them... SCREW YOU COP MAN!
So after doin' hard time for about half an hour I was set free.
I had to wait until Monday so that I could go to the court house to figure out what they did wrong. I wait around for twenty minutes, the lady couldn't find my paper work. I'm then handed a phone number to call after one... half an hour later. The lady was on lunch... surprise.
:: half an hour later ::
So I call, get a hold of her, and she informs me she sent the request, but they never got back to her, so she resends it. I ask about my license and she tells me I have to call the registry. I call the registry.... AN HOUR WAIT! I get some guy I can barely understand and he states that they can't do anythin' until they hear from the court. I mention that she already sent a request in and he just gives me the same answer.
So I have a license, but because of some stupid error...
Screw it, I'm just goin' to drive anyway. I figure as long as I stay away from One Way streets, I should be fine. If not, oh well.
...That's my story.
