Cheap domestic beer + bread machine = insane yumminess

First off: Oh. My. Goddess!

Jace had some of this bud lime beer he got from work (he works as a undercover security guard at various circle K’s and also likes to drink beer sometimes) that he didn’t want so he let me have it. Now, I don’t much like drinking beer and not just cuz I tend to be a girly-boy sort (yea yea I like wine coolers and stuff over beer but I do like some forms of hard liquor particularly if mixed with something). Anyways, I took a sip and it didn’t give me the nasty back-of-the-mouth bitter taste like most... even so, I didn’t figure on drinking it. Instead, I figured I’d put it in the bread machine in lieu of water.

What ended up coming out was a lot poofier than most of the loaves I made save maybe the M&M one and wow it tasted pretty good. The flavour was rather nutty and I think I tasted a hint of lime in it as well from the lime. Anyways, asides from telling anyone who still reads my LJ this stuff I also write this so I can remember to try this one again. I am thinking maybe I will try a wine cooler orrrrrrrrrr been thinking mead even. Won’t need to use sugar in the recipe since it’ll already be in the alcohol. I bet those yeasts were happy with the MM kind... I got thinking I could also just stop at the dough cycle after it rises and make noodles. I wonder what beer noodles will taste like? :9

On my way downstairs now to hang out with my favourite minotaur/moocow so meow at you all later :)

Happy bread-munching bobcat
