A sorta long mini update - the end of 2009 and start of 2010
Ugg... I'm so sleepy :P. Dev's sick AGAIN. Yup, again. I don't think I'm over my sinusitis, I don't think it was bacterial cause my abx didn't do much to help, so I'm still kinda down and out too. I still have crochet to finish, but we're just not getting anything done o_O. I did practive some belly dance this morning, but that was pretty much all of my drive for the day, so Devin and I stood in and played and rested. I did get a little done around here, at least.
I'm WAY behind on Dev's pics, as I mentioned, so I've been sorting through literally thousands of pics from since the beginning of Oct and uploading the Devin ones onto Shutterfly (there are a bunch of belly dance and Navy Pier ones too). Photobucket's next, but that will have to wait. So, while the last batch loads I thought I'd do a bit of an update.
Sat the 26th we (Dev, Albie and I) did end up driving to my Dad's. The snow wasn't that bad and my pretty little car handled well. It only took, like, 15 extra minutes to get there. We spent the night so we didn't have to worry about going home. It was fun. Sunday night I went to Mitsuwa with Albie, Zach and Dev. SUPER fun :). Monday we had a playdate at Ellie's house! Dev had SO much fun with Ellie, it was adorable. Tuesday I worked a half day, then Liz and her kids came over. Dev's nap was way screwed up though, so she ended up sleeping through most of the visit :P. Ah well, we'll try again in Feb.
Wed was a normal work day. Thurs we got out at 1pm :). I had dinner with my mom, then was in bed by 10pm... Friday I did indeed work, for 2 times and a half at least. We only got out a little early, there was SO much work to do :P. But I got to get Dev a little early and we had a fun evening. We baked a sugar cookie puzzle, decorated it, ate some, then had a tubby ;). And that takes us to today! Hehe. I ordered some CHEAP cell phone accessories on Amazon Monday, and the USB cable showed up Thurs!! Very impressed. So today I uploaded some music onto my phone, after a little help from some Facebook peeps. Super cool :). It was a computer kinda day.
I was going to take Dev to Barnes & Noble cause I have a gift card, but I was just too pooped to pop so we chilled here. At about 6pm she looked at me and said, "Book store?" She remembered!! I as blown away. I told her it was too late, but we'd go after her nap tomorrow, so I've got to take her! :) I did promise her that she could get a book. Sometimes I think of her as "only 2", but damn, she really is a little person, and she's SO smart and SO alert and SUCH a little sponge. She really does blow me away on a daily basis :).
