Update - On and Off
Hrm... snowed a little bit today. Wild. It's still crazy-cold today too.
Neta and I (and Devin) went and voted today at the Schaumburg Library. It was crazy busy! We got there at like the exact right time to not have to stand in line up in the lobby o_O. The girl behind us said on Sunday the line was out the door so she came back today. Yay voting! AND while we were there we all got library cards. Yup, ALL ;). Devin has a library card!! :) It even has her picture on it. Too cute!! *dies*
Devin's having a rough day. I don't know why! I'm guessing something in her mouth is cutting. She napped a lot in the morning (2.5 hours!), then even though she was SO TIRED she would not go down for a second nap. Food helped, but she was off all evening and even her teething tablets didn't seem to help. She went down at like 8:30 but was back up at 10 and I nursed her and knock on wood she's down now. Oof.
More recent Devin things:
She walked a LOT this evening. More steps than I've ever seen her take EVER! It was crazy.
She does this weird thing where she sits and uses her feet like paddles to spin around. Huh.
She came up to me and when I said "I'm tired" she laid her head down on me! She did it a few times and it was CRAZY adorable.
Devin SWIMS in her winter coat. I don't think she appreciates it, but it's cute.
She likes to touch her forhead to other peoples' forheads.
She likes to touch noses with her finger :).
"Hi" is definitely a favorite.
Erika came over tonight and we hung out, crafting, chatting and watching Halloween shows on History Channel. It was way fun. I finished a SOOPER SEEKRET gift and started a Best Bunny for Jodi's coming baby boy :). Good times.
I ate like crap today. I am pretty bad about it right now. The apartment also TOTALLY fell apart, but I'm not feeling the cleaning vibe. Poo. Oh, and for some reason this week I'm REALLY forgetful and I keep misplacing EVERYTHING, like, way worse than my normal memory lapses and losses. It's like my belongings are getting up and wandering off. And forget about me remembering plans/appointments or lists or anything I need to do... I'm completely disorganized right now. I start something then *I* wander off. I'm not loving this. I hope this ends soon. o_O
