Baby - fussy days
It's April. April. We got SNOWED ON yesterday. *sigh* I'm cold :P.
Devin and I had a rough few days. I *think* it might be teething, so I got some Hyland's Teething Tablets yesterday but we've not tried them yet. But there were a LOT of factors this weekend :P.
It started Thursday. She WOULD NOT NAP. It got to the point where I HAD to hold her and I had to be WALKING, I could not sit. She FINALLY went to sleep at 11:30pm, after trying for an hour and a half to get her down to sleep for the night.
She slept late, of course, and so Friday we were all off. Devin had her 6 month appointment Friday. She's 17 pounds, which is 75th percentile. She's 26 inches, 50th, and I think her head was like 16 or 17, but it's 50th too. She's doing well, the doc oked starting cereal and stage 1 foods, and she got her vaccines. She choked on her oral and vomitted in the office :(. So she was crabbier for her shots, but she thankfully only got 2 this time. She was ok after, like usual, so that was good at least.
Friday night we spent at my Dad's new house in Greyslake. She was QUITE the handful. She still didn't want to nap. She was playing ok, but she just kept getting more and more tired, more and more fussy. It was a ROUGH night.
Saturday was better. She was still fussy, but she DID take her afternoon nap. Dad and his wife babysat her while Dave and I went to LARP. She was good, even took a bottle which she normally doesn't, but she WOULD NOT SLEEP for them. We didn't get to her till almost 2am. She PASSED OUT in the car, poor thing. When we got her home she also passed out in her crib :P. She slept till 10am.
Btw, game was WAY fun. :) Way.
She seems better today. She napped and had some awesome floor playing time, and now she's nap-nursing. If she crabs out again I've got the tablets to try too. *I*, however, hurt. I have this nasty headache and I'm so tired :P. I need recovery time, so, alas, today's hafla was out.
So, yeah, it was a long weekend, and I'm glad to be home. Today's plan is to relax. Hope you guys are enjoying your weekend.
