Weekend
Had a good weekend, albeit a mostly uneventful one. Friday I mostly just chilled out and spent the afternoon destroying my dress for the zombie walk happening on thursday. I am stupidly excited about this. ZOMBIE BRIDE YES.
I went out to One Guy's with Boy and Taytay and Sarah, hit up Wal-Mart for a few last-minute costume things and then went and helped Tarryn and Sarah with their costumes. I felt bad because as I was leaving Other Adam sent me a text asking "Hey you have time for Chinese and anime tonight?" Ugh so cute. I responded that yes I would normally have all the time in the world for Chinese and anime (hey, I'm easy to please!) but that I already had plans. He picked the one night that I actually had other stuff to do, but it's not like that's the last chance.
I ended up staying up until after 5 AM talking with Sarah. She's a real sweet girl and I like her a lot. She's an only kid and told me that she considers Boy to be the brother she never had. So that makes her my little sister! I'm just acquiring family left and right these days!
Saturday was... uneventful. I went outside once. I did NOTHING. Yay I fail.
Today was better. Bummed around and then went with Other Adam to meet a couple whom I'd met before (they were friends of Deb's as well) to go costume shopping at the thrift stores. They're going as a Dr. Who group, so while I didn't know the source material I managed to find a coat that apparently worked perfectly. My years of thrift-store scavenging has paid off!
Started feeling a little under the weather later in the day, so I came back and kind of just continued to hang out. I didn't get any work done this weekend and I'll have to pay for it tomorrow, but that's okay. Last week was crazy and stressful and next weekend is going to be INSANE (but fun) so I don't feel too bad taking a weekend off.
But now it's 2 am and I need to get to bed.
