Today, there was mention of the name "Stan" and "Dragon" like Stanley Steamer the Gap Dragon surfacing another Xanth Prophecy based off characters. However, only people who've read the Xanth Series would recognize it. However, that's assuming they were even looking for it. Most people aren't.
Once again, that's the beauty of Blogs and Live Journal. When you make references to things in your post, you can link them together and refer back to them when you're explaining it to other people on what you saw. I had said it's just like the book
"Crewel Lye" and the Tapestry of Xanth History where you can move forward and back. It's also like Book #3 "With a Tangled Skein" from Incarnations of Immortality about Fate.
If you only look at history from a small period of time, you won't be able to separate the forest from the trees. However, if you step back and view all of history over hundreds or even thousands of years and in geological time, you start to see an emerging pattern. If there is such a pattern, wouldn't that hint that Mother Earth is actually sentient.
We just didn't have tools to recognize what was going on because humankind didn't start documenting history until 3,000 years ago with scribes. Our databases are finally starting to become more thorough and detailed when it comes to information. The reason why some people have problem following my Journal is because I'm very tangential and abstract in thinking.
However, if Mother Earth is sentient, we know she can't speak to us directly. So it's like she's playing Charades. and explaining to us in abstract concepts what's going on. I'm just sure of my results because I've been doing this for an entire year. If nothing else, you have to admit that Live Journal and Blogging is a great tool for helping explain abstract thinking and prophecies (if such things do exist) and people are trying to follow your train of thought.
If nothing else, you gotta admit that the Xanth Community has gotten a bit more interesting and given everyone some food for thought now :). However, even if people get upset by what I'm saying and think it's a load of horse crap, what's wrong with dreaming and believing there really is a Magical Land of Xanth? That's the stuff that dreams are made of :). There are a lot of people looking for something to believe in.
