Have I mentioned here that I'm taking the JLPT this year? Anyway, I am. Tonight a friend who's also taking it made plans with me to meet at 9 pm and also asked a student from Japan who's studying abroad here to meet with us to help us study, but she didn't show up, lol. She ended up having to work overtime at her job, and so I just talked with the student from Japan for close to an hour in Japanese.
But it was really interesting. We talked about different famous places in Japan and about when I studied abroad. We also talked about how English is taught in Japan, about sign language and foreign language study, and about drinking habits. It was really enjoyable. We were probably bad about following up since it was at least a half hour after the meeting time before we bothered to contact her, though. Ah well, it all led to a good experience in the end.
