Today I watched the 3rd episode of Sengoku Basara Ni!
ANGST
If you've watched much in the way of media related to the Sengoku period of Japanese history, you may have noticed that they tend to include the sentiment of how bad war is, how it ruins everyone's life, and how it'd be much better if everyone could just be at peace. Well, Sengoku Basara includes this too, but ESPECIALLY in this episode. Dear Sengoku Basara, you brought tears to my eyes. Are you happy now?
And last episode, I was talking about how I was laughing so hard that I had to stop watching the episode (making me stop watching SenBasa is no easy feat). Way to be an emotional roller coaster. (Although the part I laughed at may not have been intended as that funny...)
I feel like the music in this just keeps getting better. I hope they release a soundtrack, because I want to buy it.
Also, exciting news, that guy working under Yukimura who I though looked kind of cool has... a name? A title? I don't really know, but Yukimura called him "Oyamada-dono." Some googling tells me that he may be Oyamada Nobushige. It looks like he'll be appearing some more in the next episode too, so maybe I'll learn more. (I'm probably investing way too much time on a somewhat minor character, aren't I?)
