Do you love her?

Recently, I've been enjoying this song and video rather a lot. That may say a lot about me, actually. This too. Such a good angst song. It seems I've been listening to more kpop recently, by which I mean coming across songs I like on youtube and favoriting the videos to watch multiple times.

Today I watched the movie Dororo together with other students of Japanese at this summer program I'm still doing... I'm kind of ready for it to be done, actually. Anyway, one of my fellow classmates, as soon as the movie was over, starting saying "He's so cute!" in regards to the male lead, Tsumabuki Satoshi. I found his official website here if you wanted a big picture of him to look at. I liked his look better in Dororo, though. The aforementioned classmate was also saying, since our class picks next week's movie, that we should find another movie with a cute guy in it. I really enjoyed all of her fangirling. <3 Makes me feel like I actually could befriend more people if I actually put in the effort.

Anyway, while the credits were rolling, I noticed that the female lead was played by Shibasaki Kou, and I recognized that name. Now why would I recognize the name of a Japanese actress? Wikipedia knew the answer.

Ōoku. That's right, she's co-starring in the movie adaptation of a manga series I like with Ninomiya Kazunari. I'm really looking forward to that. Playing degrees of separation with Japanese actors is almost too easy. Also, according to Wikipedia, Tsumabuki Satoshi appeared in one episode of Kisarazu Cat's Eye, a show in which Sakurai Sho was part of the main cast. See, too easy, even when I haven't seen the show in question. I need to watch more Japanese dramas and movies.

This comes so long after partly because I was hoping more people would comment. T_T See if I ever tell you the headcanon I thought up for some things after first seeing this meme! Jk, I really do want to tell you. So feel free to still comment here or over there if you want more like what's below.

-Chris was actually trained by ninjas. That's why he knows when it's not ninjas' style. How silly he acts is all a ploy to hide that he's a ninja.
-Gene is a masochist, but doesn't know it, and this is the reason he could stand being around Sam so much. He enjoys the mental pain Sam causes him, but since he doesn't understand it, he beats Sam up anyone. They're kind of both masochists. This may become a problem in their relationship.

-Shawn is bi-curious and frequently imagines what relationships would be like with male acquaintances/friends. Also, on a somewhat related note, I count the deleted line in "Lassie Did a Bad, Bad Thing" about Shawn wanting to make it clear that Lassie would be the one who pursued him as part of canon.
-Shawn is the type to deal with a break-up or rejection, no matter how bad it was, with ice cream, eating straight from the container.

Sengoku Basara, requested by just_bolognese
-Kojuuro's one weakness is his love for vegetables.
-Kasuga's falling in love with Kenshin and failing her mission to kill him actually made her ninja village relieved, because they were planning to kick her out anyway because of her un-ninja-like costume choices.
