In light of the recent tragic events in Japan, I wish to assure everyone that I am all right. Most of you know that I make semi regular visits to Japan (usually in Spring or Fall), and I have received a few messages from my LiveJournal friends, expressing their concern.

I had actually intended to visit Tokyo and Kyoto next month but did not book this flight for various reasons.
I am, of course, deeply affected by the earthquake and its affects. It's been a very emotional and difficult couple of days for myself. My thoughts are with my friends and all others in Japan, and those who have loved ones there.
Again, thank you for your concern. Very briefly, yes I'm still around, but extremely busy with very personal events and work.
Holly, you'll be glad to know I finally had your amazing castle framed in a very fitting frame and should take a picture for you. It's just stunning.
