Thus far today has involved:
* yet more purple porridge
* lots of owly emails
* the arrival of exciting post + my jury service form - but not the post I have been waiting for ALL WEEK *woes*
* making a cunning plan for tonight (Bill Bailey! squee!) with Lauren
* an email conversation with my daddy
* filling in a fairly lengthy form for the hospital (blah)
* an attempt to plan for today which seems to involve an awful lot of contingency plans
* much being ridiculously excited about Bill Bailey tonight, with flailing & bouncing
* deciding that I am going to do some things on my list tomorrow as then there cannot be panic over getting them done today
* realising I have no clue where my turtle earrings are; having woe; deciding to wear my starry earrings instead, not least cos they match my starry necklace
* a certain amount of tarting myself up (I don't want to disgrace Lauren by appearing looking as though I've gone through a hedge every which way; plus sometimes sparkly pink makeup is just a plan)
