"Look at the world around, learn everything you can..."
Huzzah - for I went to Rainbows and it was most fine...
We ended up spending most of the meeting outside as it was so nice - they played "Capture the Flag" at the start, then we had Rainbow chat after which we planted sunflower seeds & then had squash. After that we made butterflies; sang a song about a caterpillar turning INTO a butterfly, and then it was pretty much time to go home.
The DC who used to be the CC appeared at the end of the meeting & looked a bit boggled to see me, but in the nicest possible way. She did her standard paeon of praise for student Guiders as well, which is always good to hear ;)
I am going to go & play again next week. Cos Rainbows is fun. Yes.
