Otalia Beginnings
Today is my version of the Wayback Machine. The time is Nov 2007, when Olivia and Natalia first began to get to know each other. Let's just say, they weren't the best of friends.
Natalia has recently arrived in Springfield. She's become reacquainted with her first love, Gus, who is the father of her son, Rafe.
Olivia is making deals with ex-husband Alan to protect her daughter, Emma, from ex-husband Phillip (not seen in this clip).
So, this clip shows the rocky start for Olivia and Natalia. It also shows the power of soap operas to tell the kind of story they are most famous for - the slow-building development of a super-couple who start out as enemies and evolve into something much more, this time with a twist. Personally, I see amazing chemistry between our two girls even then.
