A/N: Yay, so here I bring the first chapter~ On a side note, there will be new characters in this chapter, so yeah. ;; Hope you guys like it!~
Previous Kyuhyun never once missed a day without visiting Sungmin's grave.
It would only make sense, for it was like his soul was buried down there with his beloved. The grave was like a magnet; always drawing Kyuhyun closer, almost like Sungmin was calling to him. He sat down comfortably next to the tombstone, for Sungmin's resting place was placed beneath a looming willow tree, shadows engulfing the grave.
It was the same routine repeated each day: wake up, eat a small breakfast, buy some flowers, and trudge up the hill where Sungmin's grave was. Occasionally, Kyuhyun would bring a book along with him, and read peacefully until the sun had setted. And at rare times, would Kyuhyun actually talk to the air. Thinking that Sungmin's soul could hear him, as though he was down there sitting next to Kyuhyun; resting his head against his shoulder. He wished that's what he was doing, but the graveyard was always empty - the lone silence echoing throughout the premises.
Though, one day, something was definitely off about his normal routine. Yes, he had done the first couple of things correctly, but Kyuhyun pondered about Sungmin's grave, and stared at the object layed about before the tombstone.
A box of incense sticks.
Kyuhyun stared, and stared as though his gaze would make the box magically disappear. Who put it there? He wondered. The biggest question was: why? Maybe Sungmin's family had bypassed the grave and mistakenly placed it there, but what kind of person would litter on someone's grave? He ignored it, not even bothering to touch the thing, and leaned against the willow.
A soft breeze grazed along the field of graves, the grass barely ruffling, and Kyuhyun sighed. He sat down, enjoying the delightful warmth of an early summer. Everything was peaceful; cicadas buzzing in the treetops that were scattered along the field, the sun beaming brightly with no clouds straying in the afternoon sky, and that barely-there wind passing by every now and then. Kyuhyun nodded off slightly, and decided a nap wouldn't hurt. His eyes fluttered shut, and Kyuhyun went limp.

"What the heck, he hasn't even touched them yet?" Kyuhyun twitched in his sleep, hearing a voice that most definitely wasn't his, but decided he was dreaming.
"You think he's dead? Oh my god, what if he committed suicide?!"
"You idiot, can you not see him breathing?" Okay, obviously this didn't sound like a dream. Kyuhyun stirred in his sleep, moaning softly as his eyes slowly pried open.
"Oh crap, he's waking up! You take care of it!"
"Hey, wait! -" Kyuhyun was fully awake by then, and he could've swore there was a second person, but there was only one person standing in front of him. A rather short guy, his hair dyed a golden shade, tied in a small ponytail. He looked pretty normal...except for the fact that there were wings sprouting behind him.
Kyuhyun blinked, wondering if there was something jacked up with his vision at the moment, but after clearing his eyes of the sleep that lingered, he was stunned.
"...What is this, a joke?" Kyuhyun muttered, gazing at the wings, rather at the guy himself.
"Uh...not really." The stranger had said, and immediately after, the wings had flapped about, causing a gust of wind. Kyuhyun could do nothing more than gape. An angel? Really? Either he really was dead, or the world has come to a strange reality. He shook his head to clear his thoughts, trying to erase the thought he was going insane.
"So uh, I heard another person here. Where exactly is this person?" Kyuhyun said, onto another subject.
"Oh, that was my friend Ryeowook. He's a little shy with mortals, so he ran away. Oh, almost forgot, the name's Eeteuk - at your service." Eeteuk bowed, and smiled brightly, and Kyuhyun just stared; most probably unamused.
"Okay...and...are you here to bring me to Heaven or what?" Kyuhyun scoffed, crossing his arms as he stood up.
"Of course not! I was checking up on your boyfriend's grave here, but I'm quite surprised you haven't touched these yet." Eeteuk went over to pick up the box of incense sticks, and hold them out to Kyuhyun.
"Did you leave them here?" Eeteuk nodded eagerly, but Kyuhyun just cocked a brow, "Why?"
Eeteuk bit his lip in concentration, resting a forefinger on his chin to signal he was thinking. Eeteuk walked slowly in a circle, his wings flapping about once more. Shrugging to himself (which Kyuhyun thought was pretty weird really), Eeteuk said, "I didn't want to spoil the surprise, but I suppose I could tell you." He leaned in closer, placing the box of incense sticks in Kyuhyun's grasp, his own hand placed against his. "These incense sticks can help bring your boyfriend back to life."
"WHAT?!" Kyuhyun had yelled in astonishment, dropping the box. It landed softly on the grass with a soft thud, and Eeteuk chuckled.
"Well, someone's happy~ Yep, it's entirely true. Just light these babies, and you'll have your boyfriend back." Eeteuk nodded in self-approval, and Kyuhyun...well he was almost frozen really.
"Wait, so you're like...serious, right? If I just light these, Sungmin will really come back to life, right?" Eeteuk nodded once more, and before Kyuhyun could pick up the box again, he had a sudden thought. Too easy. "What're you asking for in return?"
"Huh?"
"Obviously you're not going to give 'mortals' something like this for free are you?" Kyuhyun questioned, waving the box of incense sticks about for emphasizing.
"I have no idea what you're talking about. Angels don't really need anything. And we most certainly don't want those slips of paper you call 'money'."
Kyuhyun dropped his gaze from Eeteuk to the box that lied in his hand. Thinking. Thinking of all the possibilities of bringing his Sungmin back to life. Was this a joke, he didn't know, but if angels truly did exist, then maybe something as amazing as the thing that lied in his grasp would too. Without saying anything, Kyuhyun walked over to Sungmin's grave. His heart beated at a faster pace, and he stared at the stone that had Sungmin's name engraved in it. It was as though the stone was waiting, waiting for Kyuhyun to do the right thing - at least what appeared right to Kyuhyun.
"Just a piece of advice, I suggest using all the incense sticks. It wouldn't do you any good if you just used one." Eeteuk had said, resting his hands on his hips.
"Do you have a match?" Kyuhyun asked, still staring at the tombstone. Eeteuk walked over, and crouched down next to Kyuhyun. With the bundle of incense sticks in his grasp, Eeteuk snapped his fingers, and immediately the incense sticks were alit.
After letting them burn for a while, Kyuhyun blew out the fire. A strong aroma of vanilla filled his senses, and he smiled slightly at the fact that Sungmin adored the smell of vanilla. He prayed for a little while, and once finished, he took each stick and placed it around the grave. They were organized so that they were separated from each other at an equal amount of space. Kyuhyun stared for a little while as his work, just...thinking.
"Hey, thanks-" Kyuhyun turned around to find no one was around, the graveyard once resumed to its quiet self. He blankly stared at the spot where Eeteuk once was, and concluded that angels truly did exist. Stuffing his pockets with his hands, he wandered down the hill, glancing back at Sungmin's grave, and exited the graveyard.
Far off, Eeteuk watched Kyuhyun leave the premises, Ryeowook sitting upon a branch high in a tree.
"You know, you left out a lot of details." Ryeowook absently said, swinging his legs openly in the air. Eeteuk sighed, and crossed his arms.
"I know, it's for the best." He muttered, and with another breeze waving by, the two angels had disappeared to a beyond.

A week. That's how long it's been since Kyuhyun had last met the angel, and lit the incense sticks that was suppose to bring Sungmin back to life.
But strangely, nothing had happened. Kyuhyun waited, and waited, and the longer he waited the more depressed he had become. Had he been lied to? Maybe this Eeteuk person was really someone who tried to make a fool of him. He could not explain a lot of things, but Kyuhyun just concluded that trusting anyone was something he should not be familiar with doing.
He lied in his bedroom for days. Too depressed to leave his house and visit Sungmin's grave. Kyuhyun scolded himself for doing so, but he couldn't help it, for Sungmin would never come back, would he?
Kyuhyun groaned as three knocks echoed from the door. He didn't want to move, he was too lazy; too unmotivated. However, the person outside the door wouldn't give up, and eventually he dragged himself out of his bed to answer the door. Kyuhyun thought to himself that he was going to give the telemarketer a very hard time for disturbing his 'sleep'. Slowly, he unlocked the door grumbling nonsense, and thrusted the door open.
And his breath hitched, as someone attacked him with a hug.
"Kyuhyun...I'm home." Sungmin had muttered in his chest.
