Update
Here's a brief update while I've got some time...
So, I worked all weekend, then did a light strike yesterday for one of my favorite LDs which was really quick. Then anushin and I went to look at used SUVs to replace her POS Kia. That's all it was supposed to be: looking. Well, we happened to walk upon one that had the features we wanted for the price we were willing to pay. Now we're going to the bank this evening to see if they can give us a better rate on the loan. For those interested, it's an '03 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS. Pretty nice vehicle.
I'm off today, so hopefully I'll get some of the shit I've been igoring around here done, then we'll head to the bank when she gets off work. Then I'm in training this week for National Incident Management System (NIMS). Basically teaching me how to communicate with rescue workers/EMS/police/Feds in the event of a serious emergency while I'm on County time. Pretty cool stuff. Now if I could just get them to give me CPR/First Aid training, that'd be even cooler.
Next week is AMA. We still aren't ready. We still haven't gotten our Video Gear squared away. For fuck's sake.
