The pen is mightier than the sword

I hung out with Margalit today and It was just lots of fun. We ended up spending hours trying to find parking. When we did find a space, I had to get out of the car to make sure that she could fit the car in, and then helped her direct the car in lol. But it turned out that you couldn't park there, so we had to search again. So we finally find another space and get the lkittle ticket thing, after paying two bucks for only 1 hour, and refusing to pay for anymore because it was just cheaper to walk back. So in mid-shopping mode, we are running through the sidewalk, trying to make the meter on time, asking anonymous vendors to exchange out dollars for quarters, we are 75 cents away from making it , and we have to alk into this deli-restuaraunt to see if they'll have mercy and just give us change. So they give us change, she rung the five feet away to the meter, and in mid- coin insert, a man walks by and stops and says "You know, you don't have to pay the meters on sunday.."

We walked back to H&M with our heads down, feeling sadly defeated. But Cosi's and more shopping fixed that all quickly. Though I didn't buy any clothes I still got some good stuff. Makeup, a brush, And an inkwell with a quill pen. The last to were my best purchase.

I feel compelled to write something truly important, considering the cost of the ink and the pen. I think it will motivate me not to make any mistakes- to really think about what I'm writing. I was going to get a journal with the ink and the pen, but the journal passed my limit money-wise. So maybe next trip to Barnes and Nobles. It's the exact journal I've wanted for three and a half years: A leather bound pocket journal with un-lined pages. It was quite nice.

So I'm starving an dI'm gonna go get myself something to eat.

I <3 Lenore, hope she had a fun time in GW, and welcome her back to New York!!

Um, we need to go paint-chip shopping darling....
