I got home last night from my weekend visiting Caitlin at MICA. I had a great time, even though it rained literally the entire time. I honestly don't think I've had that much fun since the summer. It was so nice to get away from all my school work and just goof around. I also really missed Caitlin, so it was awesome seeing her.
The first night, we went out for crepes, which we ate at Penn Station to stay out of the rain. After that, we headed over to Johns Hopkins to meet up with a friend of Emery's (Emery is a friend of Cait's from MICA). This guy was in the ROTC at Hopkins. Apparently the ROTC guys were doing a scavenger hunt and "hipsters from MICA" were on the list. I guess he didn't know any legitimate hipsters so we were recruited. They brought us to a party, where we spent the rest of the night having fun and acting like idiots. It was pretty great.
Saturday morning we was pretty much a shopping day. I had my car, since I drove to Baltimore, so we went to get porcelain for Caitlin and Emery then grocery shopping. That night, we decided to stay at MICA in Gateway (a REALLY cool dorm). We were inspired by It's Always Sunny to drink wine out of soda cans, which is GENIUS, by the way. We watched two episodes then Caitlin and I decided we needed to introduce the others to Flapjack. I just never seem to get tired of that show, haha.
I had to leave on Sunday, which was unfortunate. But Caitlin and I made the best of the time we had left. We went to the Papermoon Diner, which she had been wanting to go to for a while. It was really cool and the food was good. The interior decorating was crazy; it had stuff all over the walls. It's kind of hard to explain it accurately though. After that, I came home.
So that way my weekend. Other than that, my life has been pretty uneventful lately. I pretty much go to school, study, work and sleep. Not all that interesting.
