The Flyers won their season opener tonight!!! I'm so happy that it's hockey season again. I've watched entirely too much baseball in the past few months. I've already bought tickets for four games, since I signed up for the college package. By the way, this was a great move for the Flyers. Poor college students normally can't see games, but they made the prices reasonable AND they're giving out free shirts. What fan can possibly resist that?
Okay, time to shut up about that. Tomorrow is my family's yard sale... FINALLY. I've been trying to convince my mom to have one for ages. I cleaned out so much junk in my room, including my spare bed (I used to have bunk beds as a kid so the spare has been used as a table for years) and my desk. The desk was designed for children so I kept hitting my knees on it and whatnot. It'll be so nice to have more space in my room and a properly proportioned desk. I also found a cool lamp in our basement, which I now have in my room.
So yeah... hopefully our shit will sell. Extra money never hurts. Almost everything that doesn't sell we're giving to charity so at least it'll be out of the house.
Well... I have to be up really early to start setting up tomorrow morning so I'm going to bed. I just wanted to do a quick update in case I don't have time in the coming weeks. Unfortunately, I have a TON of papers coming up so I'll be swamped with work. Ugh.
