[If You're Not Into the Whole Brevity Thing...] Five Things I Did This Weekend--Memorial Day Edition
So many parties!
The library was closed on Monday for Memorial Day, and I don't work Fridays, Sundays, or Tuesdays, so this has basically felt like the longest weekend ever. I am not complaining.
1. Brian's aunt's surprise birthday party was on Friday night. We missed the surprise portion of the evening because it started at 6 and Brian doesn't get home until 6:30, but it was nice to see Brian's family. We haven't seen some of them since before Luke was born.
2. A surprise birthday party for my cousin's son. We missed his party last weekend because I was working, so I'm glad he had another. We missed the surprise portion of this party too because I didn't get off until 5:30.
3. My aunt had an impromptu cookout. Luke had fun running around the yard, and possibly ate some dirt.
4. My friend Alison is moving this week, so we helped her get some packing done yesterday. Packing is the worst. Just looking at all those boxes and packing tape and bubble wrap was horrifying. I don't ever want to move.
