Disclaimer: SME owns pretty boys and I own words. Talk about unfairness.
Summary: There are days when Jonghyun feels utterly silly. In fact, silly enough to load his mp3 player with old, cheesy music and take Kibum for a midnight stroll to nowhere in particular.
A/N: This is infinitely mushy, I don't even. For some reason, I was randomly prompted by Julie London's Fly Me to the Moon. Just. Don't ask *hides* Also, I swear there will be more ficcage as soon as the SBB is over. Pinky-promise ♥

There are days when Jonghyun feels utterly silly. In fact, silly enough to load his mp3 player with old, cheesy music and take Kibum for a midnight stroll to nowhere in particular.

"So, when exactly did you start taking me places?" Kibum rolls his eyes as he walks, the corners of his mouth tilting up slightly.

Jonghyun huffs. "Ungrateful, are we?" he says, and offers an earbud to him. The tinny music it emits reaches Kibum, who raises an eyebrow. "Look," Jonghyun starts, "I may as well keep it all to myself and let you go back," he simply says.

"Nah, I guess I can put up with it a bit more," he replies with a smirk and accepts the earbud, the cord obliging him to move closer; not that he really minds. He also doesn't fail to notice the glee in the other's eyes. "So, where to?"

"Anywhere," Jonghyun answers nonchalantly, taking a random turn to an empty street.

"Adventurous!" Kibum exclames, maybe a bit ironic but mostly cheerful. Barely a moment later, he wraps his arm around Jonghyun's, shoving his hand into his own pocket.

"Always."

He chuckles. He's not even sure how Jonghyun got to coax the manager into letting them slip outside. Maybe he didn't. Maybe Kibum adores him for being like this. He grins to himself.

"Starting to feel it?" Jonghyun asks him, smiling.

Kibum turns to look at him. "Starting to feel what?"

"The magic," he replies while wiggling his eyebrows, and the next track comes up the moment they slow down their pace - Julie London.

"Yeah, sure do," he says, suppressing laughter in order to appreciate the smoky voice warming him up. "I didn't even know you have this kind of music," he almost whispers, and Jonghyun suddenly stops walking, miserably acting offended.

"You're underestimating me again," he accuses him, eyes hard on Kibum but only a little. He doesn't really manage to maintain the stare that well, but neither of them cares.

So Kibum lets go of his arm in order to stand directly in front of him (You are all I long for, all I worship and adore, his earbud hums). He smiles stupidly while stepping even closer, watching as Jonghyun's faulty façade completely breaks. "Darling," he says, complete with accented English, and slips his palms into the back pockets of Jonghyun's jeans. "Kiss me."

The other snorts a little, miming the grin as he takes his hands out of his jacket pockets, locking them around Kibum's waist. "As you wish," he replies in English that's mostly broken, and leans in. It doesn't take much effort to press his lips against the corner of Kibum's own, or even capture tender flesh between his teeth. Even if it did, the fact that Kibum smiles into the kiss would pay everything off.

Some seconds in, the earphones fall off, caught between their bodies, but the music doesn't really stop; because even if their mouths break apart, they're still close. Jonghyun picks up the melody from where it ended, humming the parts they missed. He maybe even initiates a dance.

Kibum finally fails at stopping the laughter that's been bubbling up in his throat as he throws his head back. "You're nuts!"

"For you?" he smiles.

"God, shut up!" he withdraws his hands only to hide his face in them, still laughing.

Jonghyun tilts his head to the side. "What, it's true," he justifies himself and tries to line his eyes with Kibum's.

"You're too much," he says in response and breaks away gently, falling to Jonghyun's side once again. "Jesus, just. Just shut it and listen to your damn music," he puts an earbud to Jonghyun's ear, still smiling nonetheless.

The other just shakes his head with a grin on his face. "I'm so underappreciated," he complains playfully.

"Oh, stop it," he slaps the back of his hand against Jonghyun's chest and gets an earphone himself, continuing ahead in the same speed as the older. They fall silent for the rest of the walk, just listening to the songs on the playlist. They don't talk about all that when they get home, or even when the others whisper out their questions in the dark of their shared room.

Kibum, however, does think about it before falling asleep. In fact, he doesn't think about anything else at all.

He probably loves that man much more than he would ever admit.
