i really like how it's so different when people are against something on LJ and FB... FB people groan and moan, but just get used to it and move on. it might help because it's so large, the change is slightly gradual

I have no idea why I'm like...the only person not even noticing this comment system thing. *is confused* Is this like...when you comment from your email or something like that? I mostly only comment on the actual page itself, and... I see no different. *is probably sounding very dumb right now* :P

it's not via e-mail, it's the actual comment system on each page. instead of the old style, it's kinda like facebook with all the spazzy new buttons and stuff... instead of like a list of names for your userpics, it's actually a pop-out with all your images displayed so you can just look for the image instead of the name. the comment preview thing is removed, along with the subject line in comments :x they've added a basic rich text toolbar as well, with options for links, photos and videos :x

apparently it doesn't affect S2 layouts yet, so maybe that's why?

Aha, okay, that must be it because I have a custom S2 layout, and view things in that style when at work? So... Yes. ;) I...will have to investigate this from home. Sounds...snazzy? ;)

Huh. That must be it. Journals in S1 are probably the ones that get these new pages?

Yeah, I'm seeing it now. @__@ That userpic thing for people like me who have 100+ to choose from is a bit daunting. ARGH. :P

AND IT'S NOT ALPHABETICAL. And I name my icons by grouping them according to which series they're from and then just add numbers, so I really have to wait for the previews to load since I never see the whole name now!!! TT________________TT

i can't see it working well for people with 100+ userpics... with the amount of time it takes to load, i might as well write an essay on what the userpic is about >__>;;

ARGH. YES. That's how I have mine organized too. T___T I wonder if it's eventually going to apply to S2 layouts too? Because at least now I can just...view them all in my S2 style, and mostly avoid it. But seriously. :/

apparently they're going to make a S2 layout that looks like S1, but either way they're not budging on turning back.
