It had taken weeks longer than he meant for it to, but Yuu finally found a gap of time after school where he wouldn't have to explain his absence to his parents. The tutor for his cram school had fallen ill (a nasty bit of food poisoning, according to the hastily scribbled note on the front of the classroom door) and had to cancel the session. It

The club is aglow with blacklights, strobes, and the erratic neon patterns thrown off by the glow stick dancers. Eventually they pause at a spot not too far from the DJ and right beside one of the cages holding a dancer (it's not entirely clear if the occupant is an employee or a patron) that seems marginally less crowded.
"So, does this look like a good place to start?" Yuu has already started dancing but will follow if Aya finds a more optimal spot to drift to... while still dancing. Because damn if this beat isn't infectious. The song was one he hadn't heard in a few years but this remix was fairly impressive by his standards.

She can't blame him. It's easy to lose herself in the music and let it shut out everything else.
Aya only notices the girl in the yellow T-shirt because she looks even younger than Aya and Yuu. The girls seems to be looking for something. A clean cut man in his thirties steps behind the girl and taps her on the shoulder. She smiles excidely at him and starts to follow him to the back of the club.
Aya's glad the girl found who she was looking for and keeps dancing.
((Okay, normally I would run this by you in IM: What if in pure WK style this club weren't checking i.d.s because it's trafficing in kids?))

"Hey, cutie. My name's Yoshiko. I was wondering if you'd join me at the real party in the back?"
He flashed her a smile of his own, still dancing. "Hm, that is tempting..." After all, the lady was pretty. However, it seemed just a tad odd that he'd just heard her friend over there ask Aya something very similar. Also, was it his imagination or was Yoshiko moving him further away from Aya and the man as they danced? He looked over at Aya, trying to see if he could read ( ... )

"Back off lady, he's with me."

"Oh, really?" Yoshiko sneers. "He seemed interested enough. Probably got tired of the ball-and-chain he came with." She grabs for the arm that Aya isn't holding onto.
Yuu starts looking rather non-plussed at this point and yanks his hand away from the lady while moving closer to Aya. "Okay, this is getting ridiculous. I'm not about to make a scene here and you getting snarky with us? Really isn't very attractive, Yoshiko."
While they're arguing with Yoshiko her partner starts to approach the teens from behind.

"No fighting now. Lets all go in the back."
"No way!"
"Believe me, Miss Fujimiya," he answers smoothly. "You'll want to see this."
Aya's eyes widen. How does he know her name? He lightly pushes her toward the back room. There is enough of an insinuation of a threat in his comment that she considers let him lead her.
She looks at Yuu for direction.

Yuu bites his lip, looking at the older (and bigger and stronger, ack) man before deciding to do something desperate. He pushes Yoshiko into the man in the hopes of occupying him enough so that he and Aya could run. Sure, it was an ungentlemanly thing to do but they started it!

She considers using a PINpoint to get away... Not with Yuu nearby.
The man from the club approaches with slow, certain steps. “As I said Miss Fujimiya, lets all go to the back.”

Yuu's run out of idea's for the moment and shoots Aya a helpless look as they are ushered towards the back. The room they entered was opulant, in a tacky kind of way. Large, plush, retro styled sofas apolstered in purple and blue velvet wound around the room. A lot of the surface area of the couches was taken up by kids their age and younger that were sprawled across them, half conscious. Most of those that weren't laid out were rattling the contents of unmarked pill bottles into their hands or were being supplied said bottles by the older inhabitants of the room.

The man pours a shot of something amber-colored into two shot glasses and smiles. “I used to work at the hospital, while I was developing this little side business.”
“What kind of business is that exactly?”
“Furthering scientific discoveries.”
Aya feels as if she is being stared at. She looks to over to one of the couches and sees a young man with hair falling in his face. Omi. It's Omi. He looks as shocked to see her as she is to see him.

The man's laugh is almost oily. "Well, there's something to be said for keeping up with the times. Now, you two should drink up."
Yuu frowns at the glasses. "'M not thirsty." He is trying to sound defiant but comes off as being more sulky.
"It really wasn't a request," the man said, his voice hardening.
"How do you intend to enforce this not-request?" Yuu feels the meaty paw of one of the bouncers rest heavily at the juncture between his neck and shoulder. He gulps heavily but before he can say anything else the lights (what few were on back there) shut off.

Aya reaches to grab Yuu by the arm and tries to rush him out of the room (before he gets a good look at everyone).

Apparently the power was out throughout the entire building because the front area was just as dark as the back room. It took some serious finagling not to get trampled by the panicking masses. He mentally groused that he expected to get sore feet from dancing, not being trod upon. Eventually they make it back to the emergency door from earlier and manage to squeeze through. Once they made it a block or two away from the club Yuu leans against the wall of the nearest shop, trying to gather his wits about him.
"Are you... are you okay?" His voice was shaky. He was so not used to this kind of thing.

"And please, don't say you're sorry. You couldn't have known."

"From what I saw, I don't think that anyone will be around to follow me home, but I'll get a ride with the police just in case."
She reaches out to give her cousin a hug. "You be safe."
