It had taken weeks longer than he meant for it to, but Yuu finally found a gap of time after school where he wouldn't have to explain his absence to his parents. The tutor for his cram school had fallen ill (a nasty bit of food poisoning, according to the hastily scribbled note on the front of the classroom door) and had to cancel the session. It occured to Yuu just how he could take advantage of this and he hopped the subway, taking the line that would drop him of as close to the Kitten in the House as he could get.

He paused outside the shop, looking it over before entering. "Cute." As he pushed the front door open a little bell tinkled overhead, announcing his arrival.
