I'll admit, the tut is all the same as one of my earlier tuts ((
here)) except that two more steps have been added to this one. For that reason I won't post step-by-step examples of what they look like here, as you can check the other tut for appearance reference. Even so, I'll write out the tut here and show the necessary examples to complete this tut
Crop and resize your pic to 100 x 100. This is yet another picture of David Bowie ((I couldn't believe it at first, but the eyes give it away, don't you think?
Unsharp Mask of Radius: 2.00, Strength: 50, Clipping: 5
New layer, fill with #c8a0a0, set to Lighten 100%
New layer, fill with #e559bf, set to Overlay 100%
Duplicate background, bring to top, set to Screen 100%
New layer, fill with #262848, set to Dodge 100%
New layer, fill with #a28782, set to Exclusion 80%
Duplicate background, bring to top, set to Overlay 100%
Now for the added bits:
Duplicate your base twice, bring both to top. Set the first on Luminance 100% =
the second on Overlay, 100% =
et voila!
