Party this Weekend!!!
It seems I will be partying this weekend with a couple of old and new friends this weekend right after work. I recieved a call from Loy as I was driving home, don't worry--he was on speaker--and it seems that Nicole is planning on throwing a party and she wants me to attend. I'll have to arrive fashionably late (midnight) considering that I will be working this weekend, all weekend. Damn, that mean I'll have to watch what I drink and how much of it. (-_-)' damn, what a kill joy. Soooo not fun... Freaken random drug-testing... *sigh* oh well. To make up for the kill joy, I'm planning on staying over at Loy's place so that will give me some opportunities for drinking more than one or two shots and not have to worry about driving back to Delano buzzed.
Seriously, it'll me nice to unwind. CNS has me working so 6 days/week for the last two three weeks with only one day off. I heard from one of the supervisors that we are short-staffed. It's good because it means more pay for me, but it also means a faster burn out. And after this work week, I think I'll have reached my burn out limit. Heavens, my body is sore from the constant lifting, pushing, walking, carrying, and all the other things that we have to do. Mix in the constant alert for the patients welfare and monitoring of other patients in the room, and you get a mental burn out as well. I've been in the same apartment for the last couple of days and the same patient has been having serious behavioral issue which has been upsetting the other two patients. One of them was right about ready to kick his ass. I wouldn't blame him, but still, patient safety is high priority, and if that means physically restraining a patient, oh well. On a lighter note, I get my daily workout XD (lol).
