Two days ago, Azu, Alondra, and I, went down to Bakers where we spent some time looking at items for the bookmarks which Azu is designing.  While we were down at Michael's we ran into tons of possibilities for future designs and for a couple of things which I have plans on doing for me.  It was alright.  We made some progress nothing to major but

OMG, that all sounds SO good! :d I take it Boba isn't all that common over there? Recently it seems like Boba drinks are as common as Starbucks in my area! @_@;;;

Oh, and you're SO lucky that your exams are easy! My Japanese class has been easy, as well as my astrobiology class, but management is friggen torture! I studied my butt off and got a B+! That really upset me; the teacher is setting us up for failure! >_

I just recieved your package today. O_O those colors are bright! My friends azuuchan and saeko_yayoi were both saying, "Dang, Gabbie, this is bright; you're going to be burning up during AX." They're right, this material is going to make us both hot but it'll be worth it

Yes, when I took pictures around the house, I got REALLY hot. But hopefully they'll have the air conditioning on in the convention center.

The outfit isn't really my "style" either, which is why I think I like it so much. Cosplay feels so much more special when I wear something that I would normally never wear IRL.

The Tan Tan Taan! dance is just for fun because I started making dance videos on YouTube. If you want to learn it too, that'd be cool though! But please try to learn the lyrics to the song cuz I wanna sing it at open mic karaoke! I can cover Kusumi & Kikkawa's parts (that way we'll alternate), so you just have to memorize Kitahara's lines.

The guy offered to re-make the jacket, but he's going to charge for his time. It kind of upsets me that he couldn't get it right the first two times (I even sent him side-by-side comparison photos after he messed up the first time!) and now I have to pay for his mistakes...But he's not charging very much, so we'll see how it comes out.

Personally, I don't believe that you should have to pay for his mistakes. He should have been paying better attention to what he was doing and how he was supposed to make the costume in the first place. But whatever makes you happy, and as long as your costume gets made. But seriously, for your next costume, please consider speaking with my seamstress. She is great at what she does and she really never messes up. My friends azuuchan and saeko_yayoi can also vouch for her.

About the Tan Tan Taan! dance. I can make it a point to learn it and the lyrics but I'm going to be honest with you. I get serious stage-fright. It may not seem like I'm a shy person but I am. I can barely sing in front of my family much less in front of a large crowd, but I'll try my best to memorize the steps and the lyrics. I'll let you know on my status.

XD they better have the A/C on in the convention center or they are going to have some over-heated cos-players.

I know. That's exactly who Azu, Alondra and I were thinking when we read on their selection list the word "BOBA" We thought it was just a joke but it was true.

Those suckers are GOOD! The first time I was introduced to the BOBA drink was AX'08.

Hell, since then, I've been hooked. You can only imagine the thoughts that passed through our minds when we discovered them in a Mexican-owned, ice cream shop. No where in our minds did we EVER expect to find a shop that sells BoBa drinks near we live.
