Perhaps in some small way she would never truly know the extent of what she was, or even who she could be, but it didn't bother her in the least. Her footsteps clicked with an even tone along the Italian marble floors of the main lobby of Wolfram and Hart as she headed toward the executive elevators. The slit in the back hem of her skirt swishing with each confident step, because despite her not knowing exactly who her 'Daddy' was, she still had the presence to carry herself as if she did in fact own the place. Lindsey was just about finished mixing his drink when he heard his doors open and a voice come from behind. Whoever it was had some snark to her, and thankfully it wasn't Lilah. Lindsey turns around to face whoever this woman may be with his drink in hand. "Don't you think it's a little too early to be barging into someone's office uninvited?" He gives her a cocky little smile with that.

He could only guess that this had to be who the Senior Partners sent in. He looked her over and had to say that she was a looker. Even had fancy little heels on. Of course anyone that the Senior Partners sent in was going to be higher up there.

"Always did wonder how woman could walk in those all day." He says as he glances down at her shoes and takes a sip from his drink. This was all he needed, another Lilah running around. What was it with woman these days, thinking they can walk all over men.

A small smirk hinted at the corners of her lips, and a bit more sparkle in her eyes at the witty remark she received from Lindsey McDonald. Tilting her head to the side she watched his eyes as he gave her a quick nonchalant once over. Apparently she must have met some form of approval and the mention of her shoes was a nice touch too. He was well groomed, and Eve figured perhaps the partners knew what they were doing when putting Lindsey in charge of such a high priority project ( ... )

"It's all about appearances. Especially in this line of business" He nods "Well you look good in them." It wasn't like he wanted to kiss any ass or anything, which maybe he did a little. Just to get on her good side and so she wouldn't go complaining back to the Senior Partners about him. He worked hard to get where he was and he was going to continue working harder so he could get up to the top. Hopefully one day he'll even make CEO of Wolfram and Hart. That actually was his goal and he was going to do whatever it takes to get there to.

He watches her as she moves over to the chair in front of the desk. "Right down to business I see." He says as he moves towards the desk and takes a seat behind the desk. "I see they've groomed you well." Lindsey takes a sip from his drink before placing it on the wooden desk in front of him. "Everything is going according to plan. Nothing could get in the way of this. So what really is your job here? There is only so much over looking one can do."
