Summary: Junhyung is a beginning social worker, his first client is a seventeen year old boy named Hyunseung. Junhyung has the urge to help him at any cost. But what happens when lines are crossed and boundaries fade? And how far is Junhyung willing to go to save the boy?

G-Dragon frowned as he turned around. “What the fuck is going on here?” he said loudly, demanding an explanation. He instinctively took a step back, taking Hyunseung’s hand into his.

G-Dragon could feel the hair on his arms stand up, this was wrong. He could feel it. He glanced at Hyunseung next to him, the boy was trembling from fear. He kept staring at the man in front of them, not taking his eyes away.

Daesung took a last drag from his cigarette before throwing it away into the darkness. Then he moved away from against the wall, stepping closer towards them.

“Well, I asked you to bring the boy.” He said, letting his hand travel down Hyunseung’s back, causing the boy to shiver. He then walked to Doojoon and stood next to him.

“Because my friend here wanted to meet him again.” He said while he slung his arm around his shoulders.

Doojoon nodded, agreeing with what Daesung was saying.

Daesung’s words finally made sense to G-Dragon.”Again?” He asked, fearing where this was heading.

“That’s Doojoon.” Hyunseung whispered in a shaky voice. So quiet it was almost inaudible.

G-Dragon looked worried at him.”What did you say?” he asked, stepping closer to Hyunseung so he could hear what he was saying.

Hyunseung let out a shaky breath, like he had been holding his breath in for a while. “That’s Doojoon.” He said again, a little louder this time.

G-Dragon knew about what happened with Doojoon, but he had never met him before until now of course.

He took a step forward, standing in front of Hyunseung. He had to protect him, he wouldn’t let Doojoon hurt him again. His eyes flared up in anger. “You.” He growled when he looked into Doojoon’s eyes.

He smirked and turned his gaze to Hyunseung. “Yeah, me. Did you miss me Seungie?” He asked.

G-Dragon felt so stupid. This was a set-up. He should never ever had brought Hyunseung with him. he shouldn’t have told Daesung everything on the phone. He should have known better. Even the location wasn’t right. This was an abandoned warehouse, with nobody there but them.

Hyunseung blinked and looked downwards. He couldn’t look at Doojoon anymore. The feeling of the other night, it all came back. His hands were sweating, he felt sick to his stomach, not to mention he was so dizzy he felt like he could just collapse any minute.

G-Dragon took hold of Hyunseung’s arm, pulling the boy closer against his back. Hyunseung had to keep it together, he couldn’t lose it, not now.

G-Dragon was already calculating their options in his head. The two guys were surely blocking their way out. Maybe they could try to slip past them, one thing was sure he had to get Hyunseung out of there.

The other option was fighting, but he didn’t know if he would be able to take them both on. He probably wouldn’t be able too.

“So Hyunseung, like I asked before, where is your boyfriend?” Daesung asked, fumbling with his pack of cigarettes, doubting wheatear he would take another one or not.

Hyunseung cleared his throat. “He’s at home.” He lied easily. He couldn’t involve Junhyung into this; he didn’t know what to do with the fact that Junhyung was outside waiting for him. he still had G-Dragon with him, which made him feel safe.

“Oh.” Daesung said, he didn’t sound like he believed it though.

Doojoon’s eyes roamed over the boy’s figure, at least what he could see of it. He took a step closer towards them, being followed by Daesung.

In response, G-Dragon took a step back. “Stay the fuck away from him.” G-Dragon said in a threatening way, pronouncing every word slowly. he would do his best to protect Hyunseung.

Doojoon chuckled mockingly. He took another step closer. “Or what?.” He asked, raising his brow at G-Dragon.

He was curious about how he would reply.

G-Dragon bit his jaw in anger; this Doojoon guy was pissing him off.

“Or I’ll kick your ass.’ He growled.

Doojoon smiled, but he didn’t mean it. Then he took out something shiny from his pocket.

Hyunseung recognized the object immediately, it was his pocket knife.

The one he had used on Hyunseung not so long ago.

Hyunseung’s eyes widened in fear at the sight of it. What the hell was he going to do? Hyunseung felt so sick and weak in the knees. Why was this happening? Why, why? It felt like a nightmare, but it was way too real to be one.

Doojoon gave Daesung a nod and suddenly the lights all went out, clouding them in darkness. While everything turned black, Doojoon said “Remember this Seungie?”

Then there was nothing but black.

G-Dragon desperately tried to keep Hyunseung close to him, but he could feel him slipping away, they were pulling them apart.

“Let go of him! I swear if you dare to touch him!” G-Dragon’s voice yelled.

To Hyunseung, it felt like his voice sounded further away from him. he stiffened at the tight grip on his wrist, he just knew it was Doojoon.

He hoped and wished it wasn’t so but he wouldn’t just magically disappear.”Please don’t do this; please.” Hyunseung whimpered helplessly, trying to pry his fingers of his wrist.

“You don’t do what I ask either.” Doojoon’s voice said into his ear.

In the meantime Junhyung checked his watch, they had been in there for about 15 minutes or more, he wasn’t sure. He sighed softly, he wished they would come back soon, but he didn’t knew how long these things took so maybe he should be a little more patient.

He decided that if they would be away for more then half an hour, he would go take a look.

Hyunseung’s eyes needed time to adjust to the darkness, before he could finally see something, the lights went on again, that means, a few of them. They flickered for a few seconds before they went on completely.

Now Hyunseung’s eyes needed some time to adjust to the light again. He looked for G-Dragon first, who he didn’t see yet.

Then he noticed him a bit further, that Daesung guy was holding him in a tight grip. G-Dragon managed to get free as soon as the lights went out, he had to protect him at any cost.

He kicked him against his leg and tried to run towards Hyunseung.

Doojoon still held Hyunseung’s wrist into a death grip, surely bruising the skin in the progress.

“I would stay there if I was you.” He said, holding his pocket knife up in the air.

Daesung gripped G-Dragon by the ankle, causing him to trip and fall down. G-Dragon stayed down once he saw the pocket knife.

Doojoon lifted up Hyunseung’s shirt slowly. “Almost healed I see?” he said.

Hyunseung pulled his shirt back down, he didn’t want Doojoon looking at him.

“You know Hyunseung, it really hurted me when I found out you had a boyfriend.” He said, titling his head a little, like he was thinking about what to do next.

Hyunseung didn’t say anything, he couldn’t believe they had been watching him. It creeps him out.

“And I thought you liked me, I mean we did share precious times together.” He then whispered while inhaling Hyunseung’s scent.

Hyunseung backed away. “Fuck you!” He spat out. He was sick of it, he didn’t want Doojoon to touch him or be around him any longer. “I will never like you.” He said, his fist shaking in anger.

Doojoon’s expression turned dark and ice cold at this. Then his eyes softened while he shook his head. “Seungie, Seungie, I’m disappointed in you.” He said, while he walked towards the scared boy.

In the meantime G-Dragon just watched in confusion, what were they all talking about? He could tell doojoon was angry and he had a feeling he would hurt Hyunseung.

He threw a punch at Daesung’s face, and managed to get away. Daesung cursed and ran after G-Dragon, soon the two were involved into a fight, throwing punches at one another, both biting through the pain so that they could keep their balance.

G-Dragon wasn’t losing but he couldn’t get away either, which meant Hyunseung was on his own.

Doojoon put a strand of hair behind Hyunseung’s ear. “My beautiful Seungie.” He murmured.

“I’m not yours.” Hyunseung shrieked as he slapped his hand away. He tried to ran past Doojoon, which miraculously worked, he tried to make a run to the door.

But Doojoon was fast, too fast and grabbed him by the neck, then caused him to trip.

Hyunseung landed harshly onto the cold concrete floor, the exit so close in sight.

Doojoon pinned him down with a smirk. “Don’t try to run away, you know you’ll never escape me.” He said.

Hyunseung tried to struggle free but it seemed a lost cause.

G-Dragon and Daesung were still fighting, each of them not willing to let the other one win.

In the meantime, longer than a half an hour had passed already. Junhyung got out of his car, he didn’t knew why this took so long. He was going in to get Hyunseung.

Hyunseung tried calling out to Junhyung for help but Doojoon clasped his hand over his mouth.

“Shut up Hyunseung, it’s just me and you now.” He said. “Just you and me.” He whispered right afterwards.

“Hyunseung!” G-Dragon cried out when he noticed Doojoon taking his pocket knife.
G-Dragon tried to fight himself free but Daesung was just as strong. He had never felt so powerless before.

Junhyung entered the building, slamming the doors open. His eyes widened at the sight in front of him.

To his left, G-Dragon and some guy were fighting, their fists and faces had blood on them. But in front of him was Hyunseung, laying on his back on the floor.

Another guy was sitting on top of him, holding a pocket knife.

“If I can’t have you, no one can.” He heard the guy say.

That moment, he knew he had to do something.

Hyunseung knew it, he was going to die. Resisting any longer was useless, he just closed his eyes and waited for an impact.

Strangely enough, he didn’t feel a thing. He felt a pair of arms rolling him over harshly, scraping his skin on the floor in the progress. Was he dead?

He opened his eyes and glanced next to him. There was Junhyung, a small trail of blood dripping down the corner of his mouth. And Doojoon’s pocket knife, into his stomach.

The blood stain on his shirt grew rapidly, making his shirt completely wet.

Hyunseung screamed, a scream that could break glass, as tears sprung into his eyes.

Doojoon stared in disbelief, he couldn’t believe what just happened. Hesitantly, he crawled to his feet, tugging Daesung by his feet, before they ran of together.

G-Dragon wiped his lip, he would make sure to find them. Then he got up and ran to Hyunseung’s side.

Hyunseung kept repeating Junhyung’s name.

“Junnie, what did you do?” he asked, crying over him.

Junhyung coughed up a little blood. “I once promised myself that I would do anything to keep you safe.” He whispered. And he kept that promise, because this was how far he was willing to go for Hyunseung.

He had jumped forward immediately, rolling Hyunseung over, but he couldn’t avoid getting stabbed himself.

G-Dragon had already called an ambulance; he hoped it wasn’t too late.

He put his hand over Hyunseung’s, to help put extra pressure onto the wound.

Junhyung smiled at Hyunseung, who was fine.

Junhyung shivered slightly, while he squeezed Hyunseung’s hand. The floor was so cold, or maybe it was just him.

Hyunseung cried uncontrollably at his side, he wasn’t ready to lose him, he couldn’t ever lose him, not Junhyung, not the one that changed his life, changed him, changed everything.

The sirens could be heard from not too far.

“The ambulance is almost here.” G-Dragon said, keeping pressure onto the wound.

Junhyung nodded, he closed his eyes. he was hanging on a fine thread of between consciousness and unconsciousness.

Hyunseung shook him. “Wake up Junnie! You have to stay awake, don’t leave me please.” Hyunseung begged.

Junhyung fought to stay awake and he opened his eyes. “I won’t, I promise.” He said with a small smile before he paramedics came rushing inside.
