We're down to the line on cleaning out the last of the stuff from my mom's house, before someone else takes it over. It's been a difficult time.

Romeo is at his end. I've been crying for a week. (Hell, I've been crying off and on for a year as I've watched his decline, but last Sunday marked the day I realized this was it.) December 15, 2010 - On icy roads, a woman crashed into Chris' car, totaling it, and broke his finger (a shattered knuckle that didn't get operated on for almost a month). Wow. I haven't updated in awhile...

To recap: December 15th, Chris' 2007 Nissan Versa was totaled when a lady spun out across the highway. He really loved that car. :(

What with the car being totaled, still no rental car from the insurance company, backed up plumbing, and a rapidly dwindling bank account that isn't getting filled thanks to an inability to not only get to work but do the job properly without further damaging a broken finger... we expected this Christmas to flat out suck ( Read more... )

We have snow! Just a teeny bit, but it's still great. :)

Even without heat, I'm happy to see the snow. I think deep down I am convincing myself that the snow will actually make things slightly warmer, seeing as the snow itself cannot possibly drop below 32F.
