Giles was glad Fred agreed to his idea of going to see a show. He hadn't been to one in years, and he was rather looking forward to it. "It's a bit formal, but I'll Arthur get you a dress for it." He thought for a moment and then shook his head. "Or we could go into town tomorrow and you can pick out your own dress. I think there's a dress shop there. I haven't been in Bath for almost a year."

When he saw she was finished with her food, he stood and picked up her plates. He placed them in the sink and rinsed them off, figuring he wash them in the morning. Picking up the bottle of wine, he walked over to the table and took Fred's hand. "Lets go to the parlor and sit by the fire," he suggested as he helped her stand up.

Giles picked up the wine glasses and led Fred out of the kitchen and down the hallway to the small parlor. Arthur had started a fire in there but he'd left for the night. Giles sat down in front of the fireplace and reached up to help Fred sit down. "When I first took over the estate from my parents, one of my co-workers bought me a bear skin rug to put in here. It was hideous," he said, shaking his head. "I think it's up in the cellar."

He pulled them both a glass of wine and handed one to Fred. "Now, you were going to tell me about yourself?"

Fred smiled as Rupert took her hand and they headed down the hall to the parlor. It was beautiful, and she found herself closing her eyes slightly when she sat down in front of the fire with him. She had felt so cold the week she had been without him, but now she felt warm all over. It was a wonderful feeling.

She looked at him when he mentioned having a bearskin rug, her eyes widening. "I'm...I'm glad it's not in here," she told him, wondering if he was going to think she was silly with what she was about to tell him. "When I was little, my dad had a bearskin rug that his grandfather had trapped and skinned, and he kept it in the front room. I always thought that it was looking at me whenever I went in there, so I didn't like going in there if I didn't have to, but one night when I was six there was a really bad storm while my parents were out, and the electricity went out, so I went downstairs to find my babysitter. I couldn't find her, so I went into the front room...and I thought the rug was moving, which scared me, so I grabbed the poker from the fireplace and was stabbing the bear when the lights came back on and the babysitter walked back in. She had been in basement, flipping the circuit breaker. The window in the front room had broken, and the wind was what caused the bear to move, but I couldn't sleep that night, knowing the bear was down there, so Dad got rid of it. I have no idea what he actually did with it."

She blushed slightly as she looked over at Giles when she finished her story and bit her lip. "Well, you wanted me to tell you about myself," she said. "Hi, I'm Fred Burkle, and I used to try to kill bear rugs with pokers."

As Fred told him about the bearskin rug her father had when she was younger, Giles felt a grin growing on his face. He could just imagine Fred as a child, poking the bear. When she finished the story, he chucked a little and reached over to cup her face. "You are rather adorable, love," he whispered as he rubbed his thumb over her blush.

Leaning forward, he softly kissed her lips and then pulled away. "My father bought some sort of moose head once from an American. He hung it in his study and would bring people in and show them. They would stand in there for hours, smoking cigars and drinking whiskey," Giles said, shaking his head. "At the time I was taking fencing lessons. This was a couple of years before my grandmother and father told me about the Watcher's Council, so fencing was just a hobby. Well, my mother didn't allow me to keep the sword so one night I went to the study and found another sword, that wasn't used for fencing. Needless to say, I hit the moose head and it fell on me."

Giles laughed a little and pulled Fred into his arms so her back was against his chest. "It hit me in the head, and cut it open. My nanny knew right away what I'd done, and told my father. I ended up getting my hands slapped and was made to stand in the corner. I think that moment started my rebellion, and I became rather good friends with the corner," he said with a laugh.

When Rupert told her she was adorable, Fred found herself warming up even more. She had never liked telling that story - or having her parents tell that story - because it was so embarrassing and people usually had a laugh at her expense. Having Rupert chuckle, though, wasn't bad because it was obvious he thought it was cute and wasn't at her but with her.

She then found herself smiling once he told her the story of the moose head and what had happened to him with it. She could only imagine how rebellious he might have been.

"I think the most rebellious thing I ever did was smoke pot," she said softly as she snuggled back against him. Her parents didn't even know about that one although she was sure they might have suspected something. "Although since my parents didn't know, I don't think you can call it rebellion. It was more like boredom and not knowing what to do with myself for a summer. My...boyfriend at the time introduced me to it. We didn't last too long, especially since he was mainly getting me high just to get in my pants."

She turned her head slightly to look up at him. "That doesn't make you think any less of me, does it? Knowing that I did something like that?"

Giles smiled against Fred's neck as she talked about what she'd done as a teenager. When she asked if it changed his view of her, he shook his head as he thought about what he'd done when he was younger. "Of course not, love," he said before kissing the side of his neck. He thought for a moment, wondering if he should tell her about his past. There were things he wasn't proud of.

"After I graduated from the Watcher's Academy, I went to Oxford to study history. One day I decided I was finished with studying and I ran away to London. I met this bloke by the name of Ethan Rayne. He was a leader of this group of kids who did dark magic, and every drug they could find. I fell into the group and became the new leader with Ethan." He paused for a moment and held her tighter. "I stayed with them for about a year before it became too much, and I begged my father to allow me back to the Council."

Nuzzling her neck, Giles sighed "To answer your question, no, I don't think any less of you because of your past, love." He softly kissed her neck and glanced over at the clock. "It's getting a bit late. Perhaps we should go to bed and get some sleep since we have a full day planned tomorrow."

Listening to Rupert's story, Fred found herself wonder exactly what kind of dark magic they had done. He had been far more rebellious than she ever could have dreamed of being, and yet...he had turned into the wonderful man she was lying with now. She could tell by the tone of his voice that the year he had spent with that group had affected him greatly.

She smiled softly when he told her that he didn't think any less of her and turned in his arms. "Same with me. It doesn't change who you are now. God knows we've all done things we're not proud of."

Pushing herself up to her knees, she took his hand and helped him to stand, and together, they went back upstairs to the bedroom. After stripping off their clothes, they climbed into bed together, spooning up. Everything that had happened obvious was still having an effect on her because the next thing Fred knew, sunlight was peeking through the curtains and she was waking up in Rupert's arms. Stretching, she smiled down at him and kissed him before slipping out of bed.

She walked over to the window and looked out across the land stretching from the house. She couldn't wait to go riding across that land with Rupert. It was going to be a beautiful day.

When morning came again, Giles woke up when he felt Fred kiss him and get out of bed. Opening his eyes, he looked over at the window and felt his breath hitch at the sight before. Fred was standing by the window, and the sun filtering in was softly spread across her skin. He could feel himself hardening at the sight.

Getting out of the bed, Giles went to the window and slipped his arms around her from behind. "Morning, my love," he whispered in her ear. His erection softly pressed against her back and he hissed at the feeling. He leaned down and softly kissed her neck as his hands roamed up her stomach.

"Perhaps we could go riding later?" Giles asked as he softly cupped her breasts. His thumb brushed over her nipples and he smiled when they hardened under his touch.

Giles turned Fred around and smiled at her. He lifted her up and placed her on the ledge of the window. Leaning his head down, he took one of her nipples into his mouth as his free hand nudged her thighs apart. He then moved his mouth to her other nipple and dipped a finger into her wet folds.

When Rupert wrapped his arms around her, Fred moaned softly, feeling him pressed against her back, warm and hard. A slight shudder ran through her as his hands moved over her and he kissed her. He knew just how to touch her in that way that made her quiver and made her want to melt into a puddle of goo.

"I...I think...riding later..." she managed to breath out, leaning back into him for a moment before he turned her around. She looked up into his eyes, seeing the want there, feeling in deep down inside of herself.

Grasping the edge of the window when he set her up on the ledge, she let her head loll back, moaning as he teased her nipples, feeling herself throbbing. She raised her hips up against his finger as she reached over with her free hand, wrapping it around his cock and stroking it with a shaking hand.

"Oh God, Rupert," she whispered. "Need you...please..."

Giles groaned and shuddered when Fred started to stroke his cock. She knew just how to touch him and it drove him wild. As he bucked his hips, pushing himself into her hand, he started to rub her harder and faster. But, when she said she needed him, Giles stopped and picked her up.

Taking her to the bed, he laid her down and then hovered above her. He kissed down her body, and sucked her nipples into his mouth. Once they were standing erect, he moved down and over her tight curls. Giles gave her clit a few licks before he pulled back and looked down at her naked body.

"You're so beautiful, love," Giles whispered as he lowered himself down beside her.

He rolled them over so she was on top of him. Smirking, Giles looked up at her. "I know you said you didn't want to ride until later, but perhaps you could do a bit of riding now?" he asked with a cheeky look.
