Giles could still feel that something was wrong with Fred. He understood that she was probably still worried about him leaving again. He wished there was something more he could do to ease her mind but he knew she needed time to get over what had happened.
Chuckling, he softly kissed her nose and said, "I do suppose we could try. I might be able to help us learn. Cordelia said my magical ability is more powerful now. I don't quite know what that means yet, but I'm sure we'll find out sooner or later." He kissed her again, not wanting to be away from her ever again but he was still a little weak from everything and didn't want to crash down on her.
"I'm sorry, love, but I need to lie down," Giles whispered as he carefully removed himself from her and rolled to the other side. He gathered her into his arms and held her tight and stroked her soft skin. "We have the next couple of days to ourselves. Cordelia says they won't need us until then. Is there anything you'd like to do with our time off?"
