Yesterday was both crappy and good. I got to Skype with Gene for a little while. Worked out with Mom. Jen never texted me about a run, but it downpoured most of the day, and then when it finally stopped and the sun came out it was like 79 degrees !!! BEAUTIFUL !! Was gonna go for a run by myself, but the day just kept going. Mom FINALLY agreed to come with me, so we are leaving in a little bit for PA. Went with her & Dad to Sam's Club & called Gene's Mom to let her know. Told her we can't make the Heisey reunion because that is Gene's 30th birthday party. Marlene called me & we chatted for a bit, she wanted me to bring her some Under Armour tanks, but I don't think I will have the time or money. ): Everyone got into a big fight over what to have for dinner, so that put a damper on my night. I ended up having a sucky burger & fries from Greenwall's. Meagan & Jack came over to watch the Sabres game, which ended up being one of the worst games ever. It was 4-0 for a while, but the game ended up being 5-2. It was horrible. Like we weren't even playing. So in between periods, Mom, Meagan, & I ran to the store. Between first & second, we went to Under Armour, where I bought myself some shirts, and one for Mom, and then went to Deb to show Mom the sale that's going on. Between second & third, we went to Wal-Mart, where I FINALLY got Karen's baby shower gifts, and wrapping paper/card, and a card for Gene's Mom's birthday, which is today. I am going to pick up a bottle of wine for her too. Bring all this stuff down with me, and the reamer I bought for Gene's Dad. I will feel a little bad I couldn't get Mo the shirt(s) she wanted. ): I got one of my new Alloy shirts in the mail ! Meagan still owes me money, and so does Mom, both of which would be nice to have to pay for gas today. Still not sure whose car we are taking. Mine is better on gas, but Gene's has a built-in GPS and an EZ Pass. But he says it needs an oil change. One of my tires is messed up and always has low pressure. Idk, we'll see what Mom wants to do. I could not sleep last night. Still have to pack. Only one outfit though really. Going to try to drive straight to the viewing tonight. Comfy outfit for the drives, and a dressy outfit for the funeral. Mo said she would take care of flowers from Gene & I. She is really enjoying spending time with her new boyfriend, so that is cool. She deserves a nice guy finally.

So for now I am contemplating whether to go to Insanity or not, get my workout in since I won't be getting one in tomorrow. But then I will miss Skype time with Gene. Which I will also miss tomorrow because of the funeral. Probably won't be talking to him much the next few days unless it is through text/email. Or he calls. Which would be nice. I guess I could workout here at home, or go for a solo run, and still Skype with Gene. I miss Insanity. It is the BEST workout EVER. Hopefully we get the discs soon. Will have to ask Dad about that. Need to pack & all that jazz too, get ready for the trip. Going to suck driving six hours today, and then six more tomorrow. UGH. I am sure work was not thrilled, Jasmine, who offered to take my shift, rescinded her offer, citing having to work at her other job. So I called in to Pam, who hopefully told Katie, who is probably going to be the one to work it. I told them I would be back to work Friday, which is going to SUCK SO BAD. Long shift, and DRILL WEEKEND. UGH UGH UGH. Can't wait for this week to be over with. Can't wait for Eugene to come home. Only about three more weeks for him. THANK GOD. I miss him SO much. I wish he was here for this. I wish he was here in general. Everything is better when he is around.

Anyways, Kristin suggested I come over to her place for dinner next Thursday, and I really should stop by Nasreen's soon. Haven't seen/talked to Karin in a while. Liz is taking care of this cute little half pitbull/half American bulldog pup, so she asked me to help find her a home. I wrote a eulogy type thing about Uncle Warren, which Chrissy loved, and my parents liked. Dad helped me edit it, because originally I had a story in there about Gene's Dad that was supposed to show contrast/comic relief, but instead I think it took away from the story about Uncle Warren, so I ended up cutting it out completely. I might post it to Facebook but probably on their guestbook for sure. Which reminds me -- http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/readingeagle/obituary.aspx?n=warren-hable&pid=150580408 -- there's his obituary. What a good looking young kid too ! And here is the one on Greg's funeral home's site -- http://www.hooverfuneralhome.com/index.cfm. I guess I should be going and getting some kind of start on my day. So much to do.
