The post of I don't know what to post - meaning: everything

I barely check into Livejournal anymore. *sad* I miss it so much. The good old days of SGA and infinite time to stay on Livejournal, writing, reading...

Well... *sigh*

Work is more of the same. Stress skyrocketed about a week ago and now it's starting to return to normal. Boss continues to be unpredictable. Way too nice on one day and yelling and cursing on the next. Yesterday she bought hot dogs for everybody. With soda. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Also, I'm tired of this position. I want to go back to being a full time teacher. I hate coordinating stuff. I just don't know what to do next. I will have to keep going for at least another semester, see how it goes, and then I'll build up courage to do something about it. I wish I weren't such a coward.

Remember the accident my siter had? Well, her ankle is still a bit swollen, but she can walk almost normally now. The insurance company finally released the money and my mom used it on a brand new Ford Fiesta, black and gorgeous. It took ten days for the car to arrive, but when it did, it already had plates and documents, so it was ready for use. So jealous. First thing I did? Asked her if I could borrow the car to go to the movies, of course. And that means I've finally watched the X-Men movie. Luckily, it was still playing in a nearby theather. I loved it, which was a surprise. Really, really loved it. James McAvoy didn't pique my interest quite this much when I watched First Class.

Also fandom-wise, is it a good or bad sign when you are already obsessed over a show that didn't even start? Because The Flash is having this effect on me. Do I need a new obsession? No. Do I have one? Yes.

When I heard about the leak, I obviously failed misearably on trying NOT to watch it. Damn! IS IT AWESOME OR WHAT! I NEED MOAR!

About the World Cup, I'm not as obsessed with it as I expected to be, or as I should be. I'm not sure if this good or bad. One thing I'm liking is the going home early on game days bit. I hope we get to the finals, because that will mean more days with less work. Specially on Saturdays. And I'm loving all the surprises. But I'm loving the disappointments even more. I just hope Brazil doesn't get to be one.

I tried to watch the last Brazil game on the town's central square with the guys from work. Tried. It was packed full of people, and I couldn't see anything besides a sea of heads. I also couldn't hear a thing because, geez, can the Brazilian people be noisy! And loud, and messy. I ended up watching the second half back home. On HD! I have HD digital TV at home! Only one channel is available for free where I live, but it's the one channel that matters.

GO BRAZIL!
