For ANI_MAMA - drabble meme drabbles
I asked the incomparable ani_mama for a couple of prompts in line with my drabble meme as she is awesome and doing my commissions left right and centre at the moment. The following are the results.

Prompt: Cooking Lessons

Vincent despaired. He was hardly the domestic type himself but leave Cid to cook and the results were best used as a biological weapon. But he couldn’t be the one cooking for them all the time, not when his demons were apt to get excited and interfere. Galien’s efforts were always dubious and not to mention Death Gigas or HellMasker. Though Chaos was just plain devious. The number of things he’d cooked with an explosive amount of spice having turned up in were numerous due to Chaos. So he was trying, emphasis on the word trying here, to teach Cid to cook.
Currently Cid was trying to boil cucumbers and fry oatmeal. Why he thought cucumbers and oatmeal went together was anyone’s guess.
“Cid.”
“Yes Vince.”
“What have I told you about trying to cook without me here to guide you?”
“Aww, but I like my oatmeal with black bits in.”
Vincent inwardly counted to ten. This was going to take a very long time.

Ulquiorra was certain something was very wrong with this picture. Firstly, he had followed Aizen’s orders to the letter when bringing the human girl to Hueco Mundo. He watched over her just as ordered. Then she had struck him, and the force of the blow had surprised him. In that moment his contempt for her, which he had for all humanity, slipped. Curiosity had taken over. He found himself spending more and more time in her company, becoming steadily more fascinated with her. And in turn, she had warmed up to him. Why he could not fathom. She started trying to do things that were… ‘fun’ with him. Today he had been dragged to the kitchen, where she had determined she was going to teach him to cook.
“Ooh, could you pass me the beef?”
Strangely enough he found himself doing it without complaint.
“And the chilli?”
Well when she looked at him with those big eyes he found himself oddly unable to resist.
“Great, this is going to make the perfect ice-cream.” She enthused.
It had been a very long time since he had been human and ate such things, but he was pretty sure there was something very wrong about chilli beef ice-cream.
