Ring Around the Rosy

...go the plot bunnies!

lol.

I've definitely got too many ideas running round in my head.  With little to no time or inspiration to write them out.  Of course, there's always everyone's amazing reviews, but then again, I'm way too busy this coming up month.  ...English Honors 2 is a horrible, horrible class :(  I guess the only good thing about this humongous presentation and paper that I'm bogged down with is the fact that I get to pick the book I want to do it on, plus the country.  Obviously I picked Japan and a Japanese novel.  I really wanted to do the The Pillow Book of Sei Shonagon but it's just a bunch of journal entries, and not really a novel.  So, *sigh* I'm stuck with a book I'd rather not do.  It's set in the 1960's (bleck, I don't even know when that was) and focused on a bunch of college students.  Plus, it's a love story... I really don't like those, especially as the main focus of a book.  I enjoy reading the conflicting and building scenes that make the story interesting;  the side romance always warms my heart, though, which means that I do enjoy the romantic side of books.  It's just... the main focus?  Bleck, again.  Anyways, to those of you who wish to read a Japanese novel or something, it's called Norwegian Wood by Murashima Haruki, a pretty famous Japanese author in Japan.

Well, more details on this project:  the presentation's gotta be 20 minutes and there's a paper I have to do.  What really sucks about it is the fact that the whole thing's due December 7th.  ...which gives me a little over a month to do the entire thing, plus read the book.  Ugh.  She could've given us at least over Christmas break.  urgh urgh urgh!

Well, just a rant to let you guys know why I'm not going to be focusing on my current stories and the ideas that I have half-formed in paper and thought.

As a teaser though, I have been thinking about writing a GenHina story, maybe a one-shot, maybe more.  The set-up's simple in my head right now, but if I have time or I'm bored enough, I'm probably going to add maybe a deeper side to it, probably concerning Genma's occupation.  Well, the basic premise of it is simple:  Hinata's got a new neighbor.  She's not liking it.

...lol, horrible summary I know.  *sighs*  I'm probably on what others have coined as "Writer's Block."  Well, anyways, till next time :)

japan, the pillow book, life
