"The Reality" / Money / Nursing?!
So I DID drag myself out of bed and slog around for six (or six and a half) miles (59:17 was my time). But it felt good, which is..good. :p The temperature is GREAT at that time - and everything feels very serene (it's just you, the truckers, and few other joggers). When I got back I watched the Tour, went to work, got home, did some projects/etc., and went for an easy bike ride (14 miles).
Overall, it was pretty productive. :] I didn't do any yardwork, though.
And then of course today I slept through my alarm, got to work almost on time, and proceeded to do just about everything wrong. I think 5:30 runs should only come after 12 hours of sleep.
Anyway. I got my first paycheck today. $199.78, heck yes. Combined with my $150 I got from the retreat, I've made a lot. ^_^
I had an eye appointment today. I went with my mom..who talked to the doctor about his kids, etc. They got onto the subject of what their kids were doing.
The doctor said I'd be a "good nurse." O_______O
A) I don't like people.
B) I don't like pain.
Go figure.
Man..it's really hot out. I don't want to go running, but I essentially have to on Tuesdays and Thursdays [team practice]. Ah well. I'd better get used to it.
