So it turns out you can fashion a reasonable hide-out in the basement, as long as you are willing to make your own fun. Which is probably the best explanation for the signs up on the walls, saying things like "STAY OUT", "NO PARENTS ALLOWED", and "THERE ARE RATS DOWN HERE EW", with little seahorses doodled all around the letters
