Cutting around the bush.....
...and getting straight to the details.
I have a boyfriend, official as of two nights ago now (though we've been "unofficial" for about a week before that). His name is Scott Marcus, lives down in Mendon (which is just south-east of Roch-Cha-Cha for all of you NY'ers). He was born in Korea and adopted by a very odd mixture of parents...the dad kinda is his own thing and he mom is a very strict upon herself Jew. Scott works as a chef at Woodcliff on Route 96 in Victor (Anyone else know where that is?!?!?! ) But in anycase, Scott is very sweet, very cute, and very much fun to hang out with.
Starting out with last friday, Scott and I hung out at one of his co-workers house and shot off a ton of fireworks..there are still so many left over!!! Everyone and their mother practically brought box loads over, and no one brought them home except for me and Scott. It was also a keg party though Scott and I only had one beer because we both had to drive home. A fun night had. Almost got blown to bits when a firework shot off wrong and went towards the back of the house where we were all standing, and then as Scott and I were sitting by the bonfire, firework shells and casings were falling inches from our heads. 0.o
Over the weekend, I had to go rescue my grandparents, and no.... no fun was had there. -_-;
Then Scott called and said he had Monday, Tuesday and wednesday off!! So we hung out all three days. On monday night, we went camping out behind my house, and on tuesday night, I spent the night at his parents freaking mansion!!!! I have never honestly been in a house this big before!!! So many freaking rooms, gigantic piano in one of the rooms with a ton of space still to spare (Noah would love to play on that I bet!). He's also never played DDR....**GASP** So on Monday, when we were at the old 4th Mix hangout (the old Putt Putt place on Jefferson Ave which is now called the Playhouse)I ran him through a few rounds of 7th mix DDR. It was his first time ever playing....was doing 4 and 5 step songs on Beginer mode and freaking passing them all!!! Sure it wasn't with B's and A's, but damn.... I don't think I have EVER Seen anyone start out that good!! He thought it was fun, though I could tell he was more into House of The Dead then DDR. :P
I dunno what my plans are this weekend, a lot of it depends on what some of my friends are doing, and if Scott is going to eb able to make it up to Wayne County on Saturday night. He has to work Sunday morning, so it all depends on how tired he is. Hope he can make it... but only as long as he isn't sleeping on sunday. XP We have to go out to dinner with his family that night, and since he has monday and tuesday off again this week, I'm going to be spending sunday night at his place.
Yeah, BTW, his mom is VERY intimidating and is kinda scaring me AND him. 0.o When he called me last night, I guess she was talking to him and practically planning out our wedding already. F R E A K Y .....
So, this is the first person I have been with after Chris. I still miss him. I still love him. And for some reason, I feel like he's going to be mad at me after all of this, thought I don't know why he would be. It's crazy. I still want to be close friends with him, and always want to be there for him. It's almost like he's still a part of me I can lever let go of, and I think Scott kinda already figured that out. It sounds like he's never had quite as close a relationship with his three ex's as me and Chris had, so I think in a small way, he understands that what we had was very unique and that I won't be able to lose that.
In anycase.....jobs. Just started kinda looking this week... but like I said, I have been mad busy with other things. I think I am going to be applying to some vetrenary hospitals, either part time or full (I just wanna make sure I'm not working too much since now I have someone I'd like to see more than once a week), and there are a few resturant positions available to me near Henrietta. **Shrugs** We'll just have to see what happens.
As far as everything else, things are good. I have patched up a lot of things with my mom, and I think now that I have a boyfriend again, she has let me go even more... which is SOOOO nice!!! I seriously thought she would flip the other day when Scott and I went camping, but she didn't even say anythign about it. Ahhh....thank gawd for medication!!!
Anyways, I need to get outside and mow the lawn and other such annoying chores. It's going to take most of tha afternoon as it is, and I wanna be free around 5 when Scott calls, and finish up some letters that need to be sent out.
