So I've cought up with my mail, am stitching away but I wish I was at home so that I could pick something else up. The Waistcoat I'm knitting is going to be beautiful but I really feel a need to stitch something simpler, so I'm crocheting squares again for a bedcover I've been working on for quite a long while, it's all in pastels, mostly leftovers and will be cool when finished.
I've also been typing in some poems I like from the book "Poems to keep you sane" which is proving interesting and cheering. I have this long term plan involving some poems and a blank notebook and calligraphy. The first one will probably be "Death be not Proud" as it kept me sane when a friend died, I also want to get my hands on my leaving cert and inter cert poetry books as some of those poems were cool.
I'm all alone in the house, excepting Max, my sister's ex cat and my brothers now-cat, which my dad loves and pretends he doesn't 8)
I'm now going to sit down and see if the four default irish channels have anything on. Radio is tempting!

crochet, embroidery, knitting, poetry, crafts, galway
