BPAL Valentine's Day Decant circle
1/17 - 12:05 pm -- I'm going to start collecting money. The following bottles are at risk of being canceled, unless one more person signs up for each:
Couple Consulting an Enpon - 3
Eight Views of Actors in Their Dressing Rooms - 3
Voyeurs Among the Cherry Blossoms - 3
Makhanitis - 3
Pontia - 3
Pothon Meter - 3
I asked the forum mods if I could post the openings that are still open on the forum. If they don't respond by Sunday night (and these bottles haven't got an additional signup) then I'll cancel them reluctantly. The bottles with 3 or more signups will be ordered definitely. You might notice that some of you have been shifted to 6 or 7th slots -- I'll be using these bottles in combination with the bottles from the forum circle to fill up those decants. Only the list above are in risk of cancellation.

I'm sorry that there's a risk that I have to cancel bottles. I don't want to do it. :(

1/15, 8:30 am - I talked to Shelldoo and we can get them at the shop at WillCall. The only problems are 1) That it adds sales tax. That ends up being another 28 cents per decant for the Shunga oils and another 21 cents per decant for the chocolates and Aphrodites.
Would any of you object to that?
If anyone does object, I'm going to put tomorrow as the last day before I start collecting money. At that point, any bottles that are filled (obviously!) or have four decants on them will go through. The ones with 1 will also go through because I'll be able to get that extra decant between the forum circle and this circle. The ones with 2 and 3 are where I have a problem. I hate to cancel bottles on people but if I order them with 2 or 3 decants, I have to eat the cost in the hopes that I'll get enough signups between now and when the bottles arrive.
So if you know people who are looking for these, especially the ones that only have 2 or 3 signups, send them here! :)

1/14, 11:30 am -- Updated through Oracle2c. I contacted Shelldoo to ask about getting what would be a rather large amount of bottles at willcall or rather it'd be better to do it as a lab order. If she comes back to me as 'lab order' I'm going to close to adding new bottles on Friday and collect the funds and get these ordered before weekend's end. If she says that it's okay to pick up a large amount of bottles, I'll probably keep signups open until the very start of February and collect the money right before WillCall. :)
There will definitely be pictures of these bottles all in a little group, just for bottle porn, oh yes. *giggles*
Right now, there are a good amount of bottles at the 4-signup and quite a lot at the 3, or filled. The ones that I'm worried that I might have to cancel are the ones with only one or two signups.

ETA: Whee! People are here, people are here! I'm marking the bottles that are definitely going to be ordered as they get to the four slots filled. I'm thinking that I'll let signups go for a couple more days, to give people a chance ot see the update, decide what they want to test out and come find the decant circle here (because all the forum circles already filled up super-fast).
Once things seem to have come to a halt in signups, I'll go through and see which bottles aren't going to be ordered because of a lack of signups and then contact everyone with totals and payment info. I love Excel spreadsheets. Just sayin'. :)

Because I'm really that insane!
I'm running a decant circle here on LJ for the Valentine's Day scents. This includes the Box of Chocolates, the Shunga, and the Aphrodite.
Decants of Chocolates and Aphrodite will be 3.75/each. Shunga will be 4.95/each. Shipping in the US is $3.75, to include DC. If you want insurance, it's optional and at the standard postage cost for insurance. I'll do international shipping for $5 to anywhere.
I'll leave signups open for a couple days or until each bottle open has four slots filled. This means that I'll add additional bottles, as needed. Almost all of the empty bottles will be going out to the participants in a random drawing. There are a couple of the empties that I want to keep myself. :) I reserve the right to cancel any bottles that don't get at least four slots filled.
I use all new vials and pipettes for decanting. I roll bottles before decanting and I tape vials. I wrap vials in bubblewrap and use bubble mailers. I share the frimps from the lab out with my circle participants and generally include chocolate/candy/stickers/etc.
Payment is through Non-CC Paypal. You may use CC-paypal, if you include the fees. I can't afford to eat the paypal fees!
I'm Gwynhwyfar on the forum and on ebay, if you want to check out my feedback. I've run a ton of decant circles and I'm just addicted. I want to try running a circle here on LJ to see how it goes.
