New Amsterdam
Heather and I are in New York! We're here to see The Vines play the Bowery Ballroom tonight. The Vines are Heather's favorite band. Getting here was no problem but the wait at the hotel was *terrible*. There's some sort of construction going on in the main lobby, so we had to wait in one of the rooms that had been converted into a quote-end quote main lobby. A room, made for 2 at the max. There were five of us waiting. Me & Heath, two old ladies who seemed highly perturbed about having to wait, and some limey from across the pond, eh old chap, pip pip.
We're both hungry right now so we might step out for a bite before the concert.
